  4. Re: Oh deer! It looks like my night just got a bit more interesting. (weak stomachs beware What are you talking about man? That meat is 100% legit.
  5. I get a few but the XLR8R one is the only one I regularly listen to. It's good for new electronic music.
  6. Most of them would do better in this thread http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=136241 I really like the first shot though.
  7. I studied philosophy for a while at the start of university. I really liked the idea of it but a lot of it went over my head at the time to be honest. I enjoyed the existentialist stuff the most being 18 but I'd like to go back and re-read it all now that I'm a bit older and (possibly) a little wiser. In response to chubbs' aborted thread you could try reading 'Nausea' by Sartre and 'The Plague' by Camus if you haven't already. They're philosophical novels rather than straight theory.
  8. Good thread. It's funny how cunts in here go wild whenever house or techno is mentioned haha. I used to not be into it as well but only because I had never really heard anything other than some garbage on the radio. Anyway, give it a go.
  9. I used to really want one of them. Can't even remember what they looked like now.
  10. Canon G12 is a fixed lens compact with a built in flash so speedlights and lenses don't really apply. It's kind of a package so there won't be much extra for it. Maybe a carry case or something.
  11. I'd go for the 35mm personally, they can be picked up pretty cheap as well. The 50 would be a bit of a tight focal length for everyday use on your camera I think.
  12. All this dragon blood stuff sounds very Harry Potter. Good read though chaps.

  14. Oh yeh and add me on flickr if you want flickr.com/photos/lelandpalmer
  15. Thought I'd just jump in here, don't know if there's any sort of list being followed anymore but it seemed like no one had posted for a while. I'm still just taking pictures and trying to learn the basics really so these shots don't make up a completely coherent portfolio, they're more just a selection that I like and I thought would sit fairly well together. I want to start pushing it a bit more now though. I've got quite a few rough ideas for projects, I just need to get round to following them through haha.
  16. Just google image it. Photobucket just adds another level of hassle.
  17. One for page 666 I didn't do anything to this shot and we weren't in a red room. It just came out extra evil.
  18. I thought this was going to be about buddens but it turns out it's worse..
  19. Bet London only got a couple of inches as well. Puuuusy'oles
