Question/advice... I'm looking to build up a single speed cross bike with a road frame I got of craigslist a few years ago. I was on a few sites looking at ss related components, and am somewhat at a loss. Is there cross specific stuff on the market? I'm not really feeling or trying to get any track related stuff. Next, wheelsets - what's a good, durable set for a decent price? Weight isn't to much of an issue, this is strictly a "fun" bike. Also, this is the first bike that I will be building from the ground up on my own without any shop help, any words of wisdom?

Pennsylvania doesn't sell beer or liquor in grocery stores, so this shit is mad skewed. That said, I lived in a few spots in WI, including Milwaukee and Madison among others, and people definitily do drink more there than here.

Any recomendations for online retailers?

Anyone have any experiance with threadless adapters? I want to get rid of my quill stem set-up, any problems with this?

Seriously, could anyone else in this thread blow up spots anymore than has already been done? The yard I bench at locally is now mad hot and a bust due to toys rocking tracksides and yard buildings, not to mention the trail of shitty tags leading ten blocks away.
