  7. Arrogant Bastard is actually pretty reasonable when it comes to bomber-sized beers... It runs about $4 a bomber, compared with $3.50 local beers and $6-25 quality beers at our store... on a different note, all cheap shitty beers aside, this is one of the worst beers I've ever tasted in my life. tried it for the novelty factor and couldn't even force myself to drink the whole thing under the premise of not wasting alcohol. the brewer should be shot. they do an IPA and I think also a pilsner both brewed with Yerba Mate in them... ick.
  8. She looks like a sweetheart. I'm sorry C. It always sucks to lose a pet. What was her name?
  9. It's the zoom. I'm not sure if it needs to be lubricated in some way since it's so old, or if it got dropped and something is stuck in there... guess I should just take it to a shop and see what they say.
  10. Re: what was the last thing you racked???????? some shitty plaid Levi's scarf and a black wifebeater.
  11. an old Sears KSX for my novice photographiez so, my lens will no longer zoom in and out properly. do you guys think it's fixable, or should it be replaced? also, if it should be replaced, how in the world do I find out what size I need?
  12. "Strange Brew Your New Drinkable Bacon UrbanDaddy - Pirate Radio CaféWednesday… It's about that time of the week when plain old coffee just doesn't do it anymore. Now, you need something that has your familiar jolt of caffeine, but a little unexpected zing is in order too. And that's when we cue the bacon. Say hello to the Maple Bacon Latte—a double espresso latte spiked with organic maple syrup and homemade bacon, sprinkled with Bac-Os—available now at Pirate Radio Café. Think of this concoction as the Canadian Mountie of coffee drinks. It's a beautiful marriage of two culinary powerhouses: De La Paz espresso beans and organic Prather Ranch bacon—providing an extra kick that'll help you sail into the weekend. While some might say that bacon has had its moment, it's hard to deny this beloved smoked meat's continued encroachment on the food world. Upon first sip, you'll notice you're drinking a creamier, smokier latte thanks to the homemade organic bacon and bacon-fat mixture that's whisked into the milk and maple syrup, then poured over the double shots of espresso. If you really want to go all the way, you can opt for the vegan maple bacon doughnut that's custom-made daily by Peoples Donuts to complement the latte. But that's sort of like ordering a Diet Coke at McDonald's. 15. I totally feel you guys on the sweet beers, especially since most of you are the IPA-type. Tonight I'm trying the Duchesse de Bourgogne light texture, crisp cherry tartness, porter-like chocolate undertones. Definitely one of my new favorites.
