  1. said one eye witness: "It looked like a four legged octopus trying to eat the steering wheel. Then it rear ended that truck and hauled ass..."
  2. Smart

    Head On!

Yes, but what about the RE-application?
  3. Re: Drunk cop runs over 11 yr old girl, 2 officers charged in cover up, still found not gu No stupid, cops STOP crime, this story is all cukoobanananas
  4. move along folks, nothing to see here... p'raps a 'lil magic trick...
  5. Free press MY ASS! That photo is BLATANTLY Anti-clam! CENSORSHIP IS WRONG!
  6. So, uh, hey Olympics... um, sorry but I was watching the Fox cartoons tonight but I did tune in around the time you guys pushed out the beavers and then with the penis faced mooses... moose, meece? Anyway, what the hell was that? Butterfly maple leaves, Mounties, Smokey the bear (?) and lumberjacks... it was alltogether more beguiling than the opening ceremonies and I only caught 5 minutes... maybe I missed something key in the begenning that would have explained all that but... still gotta be better than London's theme right? I heard it's a tribute to boiled foods.
  7. What I said to was: So, here's my thing. I was under the impression that, by ending the above sentence with a question mark, I was in fact asking you a question. So, uh, my bad, or whatever. Pardon me for thinking the drilling question was actually larger than the Alaskan refuge, sorry that I realize the Gulf of Mexico and the Pacific are full of oil deposits and oil rigs that the petro companies are trying to build close enough to be seen from shore. Forgive me if I took your little Alaskan argument to a national scale or ignored your defense of Ron Paul or whatever the fuck your point is. "Mmm, now that's good passive aggression!"
  8. Yeah, well I didn't look into anything except the guys name. Google 'sktscraper index' and you'll find it in the first sentence of the 1st abstract in the search results. I happen to be SMART enough to have been in college in 1999 and I heard about it from my Economics prof, my Finance prof AND my Foreign Finance prof. What I posted was basically rehashed from memory. I never heard about the follow up study. So, in conclusion, some of us SMART enough to talk about things without doing any research. Like this myth about me being 'on your sack'. Errbody knows you eunuch-types are smooth like a Ken doll.
  9. I don't, but a friend of mine has a couple posters made by "Space Ghost" (really the voice of Space Ghost on Cartoon Network). One escapes me but the other is for a 'stool repair service' with the tag line "Bring Us Your Loose Stools!" He's moved twice since I last helped him move and I'm not sure they are still on display but I'm supposed to see him in the next few so I'll try to get flicks.
  10. Saw a news bit last night about the rivalry between skiers and boarders and one dude they interviewed was named Steven Power... I got a laugh.
  11. Don't we pay cops to, uh, prevent crime and stuff? I'm all for legalization but it seems like some taxpayers are due a refund or something. Truckload of marijuana goes up in smoke LOUISVILLE, Ky., Feb. 21 (UPI) -- A truckload of confiscated marijuana that could be worth more than $1 million disappeared somewhere between Memphis and Louisville, Ky., sources say. The more than 1,700 pounds of pot went missing during a controlled drug delivery going from Memphis to Louisville, The Memphis Commercial-Appeal reported Sunday. A Memphis Police Department travel memo obtained by the newspaper said the drugs -- confiscated from a semi Feb. 10 -- were escorted to Louisville by Memphis police and Shelby County sheriff's deputies. Sources said the officers saw several vehicles pull up to the tractor-trailer parked in Louisville, leave, come back, then leave again. When they checked the contents of the truck it was empty, the sources said. A federal agent in Memphis confirmed an investigation was being conducted, but said he could not reveal any other information, the newspaper said.
  12. I don't remember mentioning Alaska... I asked a very general question (yes or no) and perhaps you were too specific in your answer, but whatever the case, I fail to get your reply on several levels. Laws get voted on to become laws, later other laws can be enacted to counter previous laws and those laws must also be voted on... so, yeah, what are you saying there, smiley with the question marks indeed...
  13. Well, the law says you can only drill for oil in certain ways in certain places... do you believe that we should be able to drill willy nilly?
  14. you said individual freedoms should come before the "safety" of the planet didn't you?
  15. I didn't twist anything, that's what you said... I'm not maliagning your position, just clarifying.
  16. so, you would put laws in front of your individual freedom and safety?
  17. Zig, do you believe you should be able to dump hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel in a hole in your back yard because it's YOUR backyard?
  18. Re: COMPLIMENT THE PERSON ABOVE YOU - no homo ^I have enjoyed your cartoons immensely
  19. um, yeah, cause 'ethnic' folks just shrug it off... what?
  20. I like Ron Paul but he's going nowhere. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Plus all the recent bullshit about 'following the constitution' is a bunch of 'who shot john?'.
  21. Uh... hey there chief, seems like your graphic denies your point there... from the described effects it seems like something we should keep an eye on but...
  22. Yeah, some guy calls everyone an idiot, but mostly you, and refuses to 'engage' the actual debate when he practically disects your posts line for line and further points out how your arguments are not only 'idiotic' (your word) but fail to actually the address the points stated. Some guy pisses me off when he points out how 'everyone' talks out their ass and massages the info to suit their own agenda... like the time 'everyone' said: OK, just up front, likelyhood is one word. Next, Andrew Lawrence (who I am not sure is actually Austrian) created the skyscraper index as a bit of a joke and freely points out that while there seems to be an anecdotal relationship between the construction of US landmark skyscrapers and economic busts; He ONLY looked at the United States for his data and ONLY considered the most ostentatious examples. He further points out that he did NO study or speculation on the underlying economic trends. There was nothing scientific at all involved in his analysis. NOTHING about unsustainable booms fueled by central bank credit. It was merely pointing out that in America, historically, this seems to be the trend. Some guy once said until 'everyone' quits injecting their bullshit opinions into the actual factual side of the story they are not only going to be continually called an idiot, but they also run the risk of being called a flat out liar. 'Everyone' should also look into the finer aspects of point/counterpoint because injecting previously undiscussed parameters or refusing to actually recognize truths that run against their personal beliefs isn't considered 'entirely kosher'.
