  1. Yes, I could be considered a film nerd. And to anyone who saw this... "It's all subjective."
  2. This past year, I met a ton of korean/chinese/japanese/tawianese girls (all pathed back to a taiwanese friend) and I might have to agree...yet, that doesn't say much cause if you're coming from a different part of the world, of course things are different. They want to know about you: you have info to give them. You want to know about them: they have info to give you. There seems to be almost no bias, that is, if you're open minded and not an idiot. I've also noticed from foreign exchanged students (when I went to college) that they're interested in us just as much as you (if you are, or if you say you are to them) are interested in them. It is almost as if the amount of ego within both parties is equivalent. I could go on with this forever, but, whatever.
  3. I guess I am happy I don't eat shit like that.
  4. Remember that little girl who produced paintings that were going for around a million dollars? And then when cameras actually were able to watch her paint something herself, the painting was totally different from the others. Sometimes, parents just don't understand. Other times, they very much do understand.
  5. there is a girl that i used to be chill with who stole $80 from me, i just realized this this other day and was wondering "why isn't she hitting me back." damn that is grimy. moving on. no one cares..
  6. I drink mudslides before I bomb. 1oz vodka 1/2 oz kaluha 1/2 oz irish cream fill with milk blend with ice.
  7. Hahahaha... This book will explain everything about illuminati for you. "noting is true. everything is permissible."
  8. I could see this happening (daily) in Japan...Their culture seems nuts.
  9. i read 4 pages of this website the other day. has anyone submitted something and it worked? (is that even how it works, didnt bother to look) i ask because one of my friends had the "margarita at mcdonalds, 911 call" and thought it was actually from someone i knew. if that's the case, awesome.
  10. Weird, I've never heard anything quite like that song before.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s043quEQ9FY Werner Herzog teams up with Nick Cage. WHAT? If any of you know of Herzog, you're probably already know this shit has come way out of left field. I could listen to Herzog's soothing voice for hours while he speaks about the terrors of the jungle, penguins, hell, misery, and evil...where the fuck did this hollywood/guns/coke story come from? If anything, it should be interesting, or will it? I hate trailers mainly because they (or this one at least) gives a pretty clear interpretation of what is going on; I wonder if the film will say anything at all. Then again, Herzog can, in my opinion, do whatever he wants. Time will tell. Herzog's past:
  12. too much internet forum at a given time.

  17. in response to the 1:15 "scene" thing, i wondered if jim was playing the past letterman show in his head second by second to then execute the "scene" in the interview 7 years later on que. i could see him doing something like that, but it could have just been coincidence, too. hard to tell.
  18. Some great letters in this one...I love the story about the his neighbor/hedgehog..
  19. i have it and Tom Wolfe's the Kandy-Kolored-Tangerine Steamline Baby. Although I never finished Acid Tests, its not that easy of a read. Sure, that is relative but it took a while to "get in the flow" of reading it. It's hard to explain, but try it out...give it some time, though. I've heard people say it was terrible cause they could n't follow it, but I've asked people who have finished it and they seem to appreciate it after wards. Personally, Wolfe's KKTSB seemed a bit more coherent (maybe cause it's not always in the realms of hallucinogenics) and was a good read.
