I've been following this rather closely for some time now....
and Space Ship One has won the contest!!!!

to put it simple, they had to fly to where it's technically considered 'space'
and then land, then do it again in less than 2 weeks in the same ship.
This is the true beginning of tourist space flight.

    its soooooooo EMO.

I've been following this pretty closely as well.
Virgin Galactic. Holy hell. Thats one of those names that is kinda cool right now...but will be cheesy as all getout later on.

Let the fools with the big pockets pave my way towards space travel. I'm fine with it...and I'm sure there are plenty that can spare a measley 200k.

i watched this special on pbs on the statistical likelihood of other planets with organic elements.

came up with something like 10,000 in our galaxy alone.
