Schnitzel
the last night I cracked the shits because nobody wanted to go out and I wanted to go get some food instead of eating the 7/11 rice and noodles kids had. a tantrum insisting on MCnuggets. Long story short I had some tempura in a railway station restaurant. all they did was tempura so I didn't get to wash it down with a beer or even a coke the lady pointed at the water jug and that was that Not much on earth makes you feel like a fuckwit fattie Gaijin as walking through Dotombori (which is bursting with thousands of restaurants cafe bars etc.) with a bag of nuggies for the kids. so many eating options 3 2

Schnitzel
@mr.yuckI fully recommend Japan as a destination. It's not cheap, cheap, cheap but if you're a bit clever it can be pretty good. when my kids are much older I might go back but go by myself to see the WW2 stuff and also go north to Hokkaido. but if you're looking for a tropical destination Okinawa is pretty unusual. Japanese precision and convenience, combined with an American relaxed attitude and Hawaiian weather.

Mauler5150
9 hours ago, LUGR said: Bro….you really need a trip to Tokyo Disney Land. 6 hours ago, Schnitzel said: it's rad I love Japan because it can be pretty economical in Australian dollars. in a lot of ways, it's becoming cheaper than Bali which used to be Australia's number one destination. We did a lot of eating at 7/11, Lawson, and Family Mart. @Mauler5150seriously man it's great the respect thing is so ingrained. Imagine being in a crowd of 20,000 + people in Disneyland. In Australia, you'd have the tattooed FIFO/ bikie/ roid monster cunts walking around like they own the place and pushing and shoving and if you respond negatively you'll get the "what's ya problem cunt?" type aggro. None of that in Japan. A packed subway car in Tokyo is quiet and not stressful in the same way a packed Transperth train would be after the footy with that air of violence waiting to happen. Welll whilst not Tokyo Disneyland, I have been to the one in Hong Kong and funnily enough, we were in line waiting to go on some boatride type attraction that had rapids and things when a huge load of asians just decided to jump the line about halfway from where we were and I got furious about it as a result of having already waited a half hour to get to where we were in the queue and I started yelling out WTF? at them but they were just ignorant fuxks and the wife had to get Me to calm down. While I am non-confrontational about such acts of retardation that are committed by humans, that time I felt it was necessary and strangely it is the primary memory I have from Disneyland. It is a shame about those types of Australians as they make Me feel embarrassed to be from here 1

Well I have a trip to somewhere in the bush scheduled thanks to work to a place called Calingiri. It isn't too far away but I wouldn't call it a real trip anyway. Perhaps in the mid year I might just do a super release and fuck off somewhere overseas so I get some use out of My passport which expires in a couple of years and only has My last jaunt overseas on it thanks to [redacted].

Okay word. So it's very much the Aussie version of the N word. Like I was at the hood store like I often am and I hear a jovial greeting between two young black men "Yo. What up you black ass N(er) boy?" Where as of I were to greet that man in the same way, I might be eating my teeth.

And the same duplicitous double standards apply to it being verbalised. Went to Sicily in 2005. can't remember much barring the gelato served inside a brioche roll which was fucking awesome. and that it was so damn hot in Palermo and Trapani the days we were there. And go to the Iso Aeolian islands - we stayed in Lipari. stunning. The right kind of stunning that makes a woman feel uninhibited and frisky and determined that you're both going to live la dolce vita. ya dig. 1
Mauler5150
So I am checked into a pub hotel at a place called Bolgart. I might make a quick video tomorrow to show you the locale and whilst it isn't foreign to Me, it still is as "City slicker" who has never ventured this far east in a car. Also I had the fish and chips with salad here and it kicked the arse of the pubs right on the northern suburb beaches of Perth, which given I am about 2 hours drive inland from the coast makes one wonder...

Probably a sewage line but it meant we could walk out rather than swim out. An interesting thing from the US occupation was the rise of drive-in diners all over the island. we were told to go to Cape Zanpa Drive-in. So we did. Coffee and burgers and shakes went up the lighthouse and watched a guy frantically casting to take advantage of the Dorado kicking around the deep water cliffs (my wife's camera has a piece of dust stuck in the lens can you tell?) The ocean is a pretty fucking big thing dude after 13 years of currents etc the toxicity would be so minimal. The pacific ocean covers 60 million square miles at an average depth of 13,000 ft. that toxic water is like one kid peeing in an olympic pool.
