I don’t know what its roots look like but its a good time of year to check its roots and transplant if need be. what I like to do when time/supplies/effort are all running low is-if I have enough room in the pot-pull the plant out. Check them roots. Add some fresh, moistened soil to the bottom of the pot. Fluff (make sure soil isn’t compacted. Put plant back in here’s plant. I have some room at the lip so I have enough to backfill it. this is a sign that this plant needs some attention. That dark seepage through the terra cotta is leaching. So I didn’t know what was going on with the plant so I decided to do this today. It’s sign that this plant needs some nutrients because the terra cotta is pulling it out of the soil OR there is too much nutrients in the soil and it’s leaching out. this plant does this a few times a year. And this plant only. So I’ll usually flush it out then feed it again. roots aren’t bound up. Look healthy. Growing. so I fluffed the soil. All transplants get a sprinkle of this. A doe ate my peas in the beginning so it's good that they kept growing. With each time I cut an elongated top off (like the dick looking one on the left ) it developed these lil pups. Since it’s summer it’s a good time to do this. put my gloves on and twist/pulled each pup off I also cut the top of the dick cacti off. I will put the pups on some moistened soil and hope they root. The top that was cut will have to wait a few days (to close up that wound) before it can go into soil. about three days later this guy got his own pot. Now they just post up on this window ledge that is inside of our patio. Very filtered light. As a result, I've got a ton of green tomatoes just waiting on the sun. Pretty much same for other shit that needs the sun. Coulda sold a few of the giant monsteras for cash but seemed more trouble than it’s worth. taking care of these bazillion weed plants has been giving me enough fulfillment for now along with the few baby plants I kept at home. Hopefully next season get a plot out on my buddy’s land to do some field crops. yo @nicklesndimesyou got pears and hot peppers out there? You mixin up a sweet n spicy type jam?
