so, to you i say, bring it. i'm down for an intellectual debate with a mongo.

almost forgot to reply to your "number 2." the medicine sucks when it's spoon fed back, eh?

wasn't given or chose not to attend for very long.

hell, now that i've seen the people it turns out, i'm pretty happy

about my choice. you know, the one i wasn't given?

instead, i took a chance on expanding my already vast knowledge

of computers and turned that into something pretty fruitful.

gosh! and i missed that opportunity to be "given" something.

My dude.

You are sounding ridiculous.

I respect a lot of things you have to say on this board.

But, a lot of this is retarded.

That link you sent me about winning an argument the other week...

cmon.

There is a difference between winning an argument and being right.

and you my friend are going well beyond logical argumentation and straight in to bullshit.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/02/14/some-black-superdelegates-reassess-clinton-support/

WASHINGTON (AP) – In a fresh sign of trouble for Hillary Rodham Clinton, one of the former first lady's congressional black supporters intends to vote for Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention, and a second, more prominent lawmaker is openly discussing a possible switch.

Rep. David Scott's defection and Rep. John Lewis' remarks highlight one of the challenges confronting Clinton in a campaign that pits a black man against a woman for a nomination that historically has been the exclusive property of white men.

But Christine Samuels, until this week a Clinton superdelegate from New Jersey, said during the day she is now supporting Obama.

Two other superdelegates, Sophie Masloff of Pennsylvania and Nancy Larson of Minnesota, are uncommitted, having dropped their earlier endorsements of Clinton.

On Wednesday, David Wilhelm, a longtime ally of the Clintons who had been neutral in the presidential race, endorsed Obama.

That's a weird system of politicians over people. I wish the article clarified what mechanisms, for example Gov. Rafael Hernandez Colon, uses to control the delegates. Is it just good old salesmanship? Bullying? Or is the system set up so the delegates ultimately have to follow the leader, whom ever that may be?

Any ideas?

BEWARE: "FREE" MEDICAL CARE WILL KILL YOU - ON PURPOSE!

"Case in point, this report from England (Don't treat the old and unhealthy, say doctors) where full government health care is "provided" free to every citizen. For years, free market advocates like myself have had to endure lectures from our little socialist friends about the glories of "free" health care. We keep pointing out that nothing is free - and now the folks in England may be paying for that health care with their lives - literally."

"When government gets overburdened and revenues don't keep up with all the grand plans of a horde of politicians, someone has to feel the pain. Today, England's treasury can't keep up with the massive costs of health care. So the bureaucrats, such fiscally responsible folks - just serving the people, you understand - have decided the best way to cut costs is to stop providing health care to those who are too old or those who leave "unhealthy lives." Of course, government gets to decide who they are."

The lack of sitation combined with the obvious bias of that article gets your article the dookified thong of a fat girl working at Burger King. I bring this up everytime - I get that posting here forces us to rely on websites, some of which will be upfront with their bias, which is fine. But if you're going to make outrageous claims, such as stating that in England they're killing old people to save money, you kind of have to offer evidence. No wonder you all beleive the shit you do, you have no concept of objectivity.

That is the findings of a survey of doctors, it is not a government initiative. Plus, the findings were just that doctors felt that some surgeries that are causes by the persons habits shouldn't be done because it is caused by lifestyle choices. They site obese people needing hip replacements or alcoholics needing liver transplants but refusing to stop drinking. Also some felt that elderly people who won't gain significant longevity from certain treatments should be declined, which isn't the same as refusing to treat the elderly. I'm not defending or advocating for either side of the discussion, but did you even read the article?

Please don't come back in here.

Nationalized Health Care is Broken . John Stossel

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2007/09/socialized_medicine_is_broken.html

[ One hospital tried to save money by not changing bed sheets every day. British papers report that instead of washing them, nurses were encouraged to just turn them over.

Government rationing of health care in Canada is why when Karen Jepp was about to give birth to quadruplets last month, she was told that all the neonatal units she could go to in Canada were too crowded. She flew to Montana to have the babies.

"People line up for care; some of them die. That's what happens," Canadian doctor David Gratzer, author of The Cure, told "20/20". Gratzer thought the Canadian system was great until he started treating patients. "The more time I spent in the Canadian system, the more I came across people waiting. ... You want to see your neurologist because of your stress headache? No problem! You just have to wait six months. You want an MRI? No problem! Free as the air! You just gotta wait six months. ]

---------------------

"They don't care how long you wait. They'll get to you sooner or later. But it's free. It's free." - Lindsay Mcreith, of Ontario, who had symptoms of a seizure and headaches, had to fly to Buffalo to get an MRI. The MRI showed that Mcreith had a tumor. After, he had to get surgery done in Buffalo - the wait time in Ontario would have killed him.

"Now I understand that there is this movement afoot in the U.S. by certain circles to try and duplicate the Canadian system in the U.S. Trying to adopt the single-payer system in the U.S. Then where will I send my clients? I'll have no where to send my clients. Your hospitals will be packed up. You people will be waiting two or three years for surgery. I'll have no where to send Canadians." - Rick Baker of Timely Medical Alternatives.

Next crucial states -- Texas, Ohio, Wisconsin, and Hawaii.

It looks like Obama will take Hawaii easily... and he's slightly ahead in Wisconsin and Texas according to polls.

Ohio on the other hand might go to Clinton.

If Obama were to win both Ohio and Texas (the most crucial), not to mention the other two -- Clinton might as well throw in the towel.
