KILZ FILLZ
I like that too @swif1 and I’m old enough that their 25 year life span ain’t a dealbreaker haha
swif1
I believe it can be replaced, right? Or are they adhered to the hand/dial? While it is definitely something that can be bought for one's self, it'd be great to have it become a family heirloom. I stopped wearing my piece as the latch is worn from daily use and wear it for special occasions now. It goes months without being wound up and has been several years since I last brought it in for service. I may have to do it early 2021. I think my next piece will be a replica but we will see. KILZ FILLZ
I do t know if they can be replaced but would also be torn, keeping the thing all original is big to me. @swif1the compass thing is cool, another practical use for a dive bezel outside of the water! defyoner
@swif1 The Caring Edition - This year, the world was blindsided by one of most severe pandemics in recent history. Amidst the loss, sadness and anxiety, the human kind never loses sight of hope, perseverance and solidarity. As part of our humble support to the fight against the COVID-19, a special edition of the Engineer III Marvelight Chronometer, featuring a multi-colored dial and micro gas tubes, is born. CHF 300 will be donated to The Salvation Army for every piece of this special edition sold during the pre-order period. The watch that once ran America’s railroads now empowers world explorers to live freely, fearlessly and with a new purpose.

Its apparently a 1 of 1. But for 140,000 id rather opt for a few high end pre owned. 1 of which would be a minute repeater. https://www.chrono24.com/andersengenve/eros-presidents-pleasure--id17300918.htm

A few years ago I was speaking with a fine watch dealer and I just happened to ask about Tourbillon movements and other Haute Horology. She basically tells me, non of her clients wear the watches. They purchase them as collection pieces. Which was kind of surprising to me. Anyhow, yep, at that price range the only time someone may see it would be a wrist-rental for a music video. However, I am sure there is always that one guy who actually wears his collection and doesn't care what people think.

KILZ FILLZ
Got an Uncle Seiko waffle strap for my Pepsi Turtle quality seems good. About as stiff as a g-shock strap. Not nearly as supple as the Vostok. ready for the beach!
