This may or may not be in here already. But I need help with installing a downloaded version of maya 7.0 for Mac without sending my file to a pc keygen and back. has anyone successfully installed a mac version of maya from a download "for educational purposes only" who can help? Also, does soulseek work for mac's too? because I used it before with my PC, but to install the version from their homepage it says I dont have the correct application. Any help out there?

stay with external

why?

[/b]

From what I have seen it might be more of a hassle then it's worth. it also appears that most companies are discontinuing manufacture of them.

[quote=(http://www.cable-modems.org/tutorial/04.htm)

The internal Cable Modem is typically a PCI bus add-in card for a PC. That might be the cheapest implementation possible, but it has a number of drawbacks. First problem is that it can only be used in desktop PC's. Mac's and laptops are possible, but require a different design. Second problem is that the cable connector is not galvanic isolated from AC mains. This may pose a problem in some CATV networks, requiring a more expensive upgrade of the network installations. Some countries and/or CATV networks may not be able to use internal cable modems at all for technical and/or regulatory reasons.]

EVERYONE GO HERE

http://www.dslreports.com/scan

press probe when its done go to results and post it here lets see how vulnerable your system is

then we can help you fix the hole in your system if need be

here is mine

Your Results for this scan

Conclusion: Healthy Setup! We could detect no interesting responses from any of the commonly probed TCP and UDP ports. It would be difficult for an attacker to know where to start without further information.

TCP ALL FILTERED No response packet was received.

UDP ALL FILTERED No response packet was received.

Do you Trust Your Information With Everyone?

I Think Not :huh2:

one question..should i get a mac ibook g4, or a windows laptop.

thanks

Try out a Mac before buying one. For all the Mac cultists out there, there are many people that find Apple's lack of two button mousing, contextual menus, gaming software, and general flexibility to be limiting.

Also consider the rampant problems with Mac laptop logic boards and the regular upgrade costs of the OS alone.

You might be better served by a good Windows laptop with it's powerful and familiar environment rather than adopting the 'Mac workstyle'.
