I was going for the Canon EOS 5D, but I honestly don't think I'm up to the level to handle a camera like that. I'm looking for a point and shoot that takes really clean crisp pictures. I'm currently checking out the Canon s80 and was wondering if anyone had experience with this camera or could recommend anything better. wafflecakee Posted March 22, 2010 Share Posted March 22, 2010 well if you were considering a dslr in the first place id suggest going with one. get a nikon used and it'll be the around the same price as the s80. and if you want to upgrade the lenses will be cheaper than if you have a canon dslr. butttttt if you really want a point and shoot get the canon g11 its great. 5d to s80 though is quite the jump.
