at home:

http://neurosis.mit.edu/mjolnir/mjolnir.jpg'>

Mjolnir (also spelled Mjollnir) is currently the largest subwoofer at Random Hall, and quite possibly the largest subwoofer at MIT. With the 23 inch cone and over 38 cubic feet of volume, this speaker has no problem shaking the entire building. It was built from scratch in early December 1999 by a group of students at MIT. The total cost came out somewhere around $100

in the ride:

eh... fuck it.. im tired of looking.. i had a pic of a guy with a 48 inch subwoofer in the back of an armored car.. it was pretty fucking rad.

Guest Catch22

I just got some amps & subwoofers installed. Is it pointless to have a bass controller & an EQ? or will just an EQ do anyone Know?

Just get a headunit with Sub AND speaker EQ. My Pioneer has it.

Crossovers.

They channel out some of the lower frequency bass. that way they won't blow the speakers.
