First one is cool, maybe a tighter crop would look better so it's just focused on the middle section. My eye is going to the right hand side. Maybe keep the watermark to the bottom corner and maybe make is slightly transparent too. Watermarks are always distracting

Word, everyone is always their own toughest critic. Just start posting stuff regularly in here and I'm sure everyone will be willing to give you some helpful criticism. Shooting at night is the shit, once you're nailing nice long exposures and shooting hand held at slower speeds everything else is easy. And for a photo, this was my Grandads photography book, the second edition of that book printed in 1942. Pretty much covers framing/compositions, exposure, developing, and darkroom prints. Everything.

To be honest, the only tips I can give is shoot more. I've never done any form of formal education or taken any classes for photography. I've just developed a feel for the lighting, take one or two shots and you'll get the right exposure. I usually set the ISO and aperture then take a few shots with the shutter speed I think is right. I've found I've become better at shooting at night now too. It's all just shooting more, haha. Sorry I can't be more helpful! In other news I'm actually thinking of signing up for a course which goes for a few months. The cut off is tomorrow so that's my night planned, decision making..

I just got an email saying for that photo I got in the paper I won a family pass to the zoo :lol: Or I can get a double pass to the movies. Hmm. I'll probably go with the zoo. Spaceman, you should definitely get onto some MF stuff, I'd love to see your shots in a nice 6x6 format. I don't know why but it does something for me, I think especially with your snow/forest shots it would look great.

The front page always credits the source of where they found the image, although sometimes not the original source there is always a link back. The forum is a place where writers post photos of graffiti, mostly taken by the users, benched or taken in the streets. And for the threads that are simply photo dumps, it is a forum, nobody is cashing in on it. They're simply sharing and again, often linking to the source. 'Nuff said. Wafflecakee, oh_snap, all you guys.. Post more photos, haha. I don't wanna ruin this thread. I need to develop some film over the weekend.

Just to get off the long fucking train of who drinks what... Nothing amazing, sharing anyway. Went to this dudes place for a party who had a huuuge house, ended up crashing there and when I woke up with my ex we went for a shower. His shower was so big/long you could lie flat out in it with an extra 4ft of room. So it seemed like a good idea to site/lay down so she could get on top which was pretty sweet in this big ass shower. Finished and got up and I saw all this blood washing around in the water. Got a fucking fright looking at my dick, looked at my ex with a questioning face... But it turns out I'd been sitting on the drain and grated a whole heap of skin off my ass. That kinda sucked.
