  3. Re: I wanna see your...........PETS! Here is my cat, Cat. She likes to sit a lot.
  4. Tanks! I just use some crappy 35mm Rite aid brand 400 ISO. It's usually buy one pack get another free. Tryna do this film on the cheapy cheap. I'd like to play around with other films in the future tho. Seems neat. OMG, Those shelves are great! The color and temp iz primo!
  5. Also who the heck goes to an internment camp and thinks 'I am just gonna learn traditional japanese carpentry.' Not me. I'd be like 'ah I am in an internment camp. This blows. :[' Another japanese designer, Noguchi, made dis iconic coffee table you see everywhere cuz there is a bunch of terrible knock offs. The piece was orginally commisioned by Robsjohns Gibbons who later thought that because Noguchi was in an internment camp he could sell the design himself with out passing down any money to Noguchi. Originally there was three legs to the table, when Noguchi found out it was being sold he re made the table with two and got it picked up from herman miller. Bad ass move Noguchi. Bad. Ass. Move. A favorite! The Miller house. Worked on by Eero Saarinen, Alexander Girard, and Dan Kiley. Here is a video. I dont know what it says cuz I gots no volume on the compooter. But the shots of the house, inside, and landscaping is good. You can see how everything relates and makes the house awesome. If you do the tumblr thing this is a great blog that shares the process of this house being made. There's a lot of letters the designers wrote requesting cabinet work, lighting all that. Tis neat. Ok ok. I am done.
  6. Good thread. Nice posts.
  7. Drue, that coffee table is amazing. A great design for a family. Here is some of Leslie Williamson's interior photographies of some great designers houses. Russel Wright's din din room Wharton Esherick’s bedroom. I dunno who this guy is but I like dat space. Looks good. Vladimir Kagan’s living room Last one is Nakashima's Reception house. I enjoy that Nakashima very much. This piece! Here is a short little read about dude, for ya'll who are interested. IMO dude was a bad ass, was in an internement camp were he learned his craft from a japanese carpenter who ya know...taught him traditional japanese carpentry. His belief was that ''each plank cut from a tree had only one ideal use and it is the woodworker’s responsibility to find that use and shape the wood to realize its true potential." This little post is also a (longer) good read about dude and his career.
  8. Meep meep. Herro 12oz! I have been playing around with film lately. It is fun and often does not turn out the way that I want it to. These are taken with dat Pentax Honeywell SP1000. It's a pretty easy little camera to use for a rookie like me self. I used almost every light I had in the house to er illuminate this right hur. Did not work out well. Really out of focus. I do like the color going on tho.
  9. I totally agree but...white people pho...I'd eat dat again.
  10. Dear symbols, I enjoy dat! Sincerely-Bfish.
  11. Symbols, where did you get that book? It would make a perfect gift for my man friend.
  12. Dear Fist and symbols, That makes a whole lot more sense. I dont think it is bothering my computer none...I was just curious because I never seen that type of shenannygins before. Tanks for the splanation! -B.fish Dear FREAKINGWEEKEND R.KELLY CRUISE (!!!!!!), Zomg. ZOMG. Do you know what kinda amazing possible LOL times are gonna be had? All I keep picturing is R.Kelly in a captain's hat using one of those fake steering wheels that children use on a playground, singing to the all the lady passengers: "Laddddddiiiieeeees. I SAID LAYDEEEZ. I knooow that YOOO-U-OOOH can heeeear me! Put down that mother.fuck-in'-friiiiied chiiiicken and heeeear me. (PAUSE) I AM DRIIIVIN' THIS MOTHERFUCKIN' BOAT RIGHT NOW. I said LAAAAAYDEEEEZ. I am drivin' this boat and.we.aint.bout.to.hit.no.motherfuckin' ICCCCCEBURG. Cuz this aint no TITATNIC. Nooooooo. This is the mother.fuckin'.R.KELLY CRRRRUIIISE SHIIIIP." Then I picture R.kelly periodically coming in through the speaker sing song talking all the upcoming activities and it gets everyone stoked on workin' up a sweat at the "Stepping Class". I feel like this cruise is about to be the LULZ generations woodstock and I really want to go. However I am a lil afraid for my life if I attend. Because R.Kelly is a nut. He is probably one of thee craziest persons alive right now. And I do love him for that. I just have some fears about mixing crazy rich person who likes to party through the freakin' weekend and a boat together. So. Maybe I will just think about it some more. That might be enough for me. Thinking about all the things that could happen is pretty great. "I SAID LAYYYYDEEEEZ. We bout to woooork offf that pound of delicious fried shrimp you just ate. We bout to let all the faaat just rrrRRRrrrOOOoooLLL right off us. We bout tah BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE BOUNCE." Forever yours-B.fish
  13. Dear Dear thread contributors, Could someone please explain to me what is up with all the guest in every thread? Right now there is 31 guests and 3 members in here. The other day there was 53 guests in Your day in pies? Tis a lil' strange. There is stranger things in the world but I am just curious if there is any logical explanation to this before I go on and assume they are all zombies. Sincerly outta the loop and possibly creating my own loops, B.Fish Dear Alaskan Klee Kai's, I love you and one day I will own one of your kind. His name will be chief and I'll say things like 'Now settle down there chief, no need to get your feathers all ruffled up.' You are everything I could ever hope and dream for. With lotsa love-B.Fish Dear KFC, We dance tonight. You will bring me misery later but it will be worth it. Looking forward to your greasy deliciousness-B.fish
  14. Chirp Chirp. One more and I am done for the day Hans Olsen's Safari Chair. So bootiful and appropriately named. Double Butter furniture. They doing that walnut wood and pastel color kick. It's a pretty popular idur right now with furniture design but Double butter was the first company that I saw it from that made me think wow-neat-I buy that if I had da cash money. David Derksen's Oxidized mirror project. I want this. I want to try to make it but I am afraid of blowing myself up.
  15. Brick house Blogger's home is the most wonderfully designed place on the internet. I love that it is modern and earthy. Yeah. I used the word earthy. Guest Bedroom Living room. Den PS. I am not entirely sure if we can post photo's of just interiors (thass what I am doing). So um. All that furniture. IZ GOOD...
  16. I like this thread. I will post here. I also like Alexander Girard. He designed bootiful spaces and stuff to put in your house. This identity for Le Fonda Del Sol-SO GOOD: Flor's A. Girard's Le Fonda rug. This chair's textiles he did for Herman Miller, MAH! Girard's dolls he made for his home that are now available through Vitra. These would look good on my shelves. Textiles he designed for Herman Miller.
  17. Ah hell. Well now scrimshaw is my most favorite beer ever. A whale is soooo much better than a boat. And thank you. I am glad to be back.
  18. Inn and out needs to move out more east like. They'd make bank and tons of people happy. Lugr, whenever I drink the scrimshaw it has had a boat on it. Maybe the whale is a different type.
  19. Scrimshaw is the perfect beer for me. It's light-still tasty and has a picture of a boat. Good beer all around. Bobbydigital-Those are animal style fries from inn and out. They are pretty good. Go eat dat!
  20. Try to find our way. The wall to this was full of weird clay dirt you could draw on. I do that. It was a good day. This train passes by. It's got stuff. Try to climb this tree but that tree was not having it. Head home and snack on. Break into my piggy bank to give either this hella down and out lady+child or this really good scammer. I drink dis beer and watch a terrible Nicholas cage movie. TWAS TERRIBLE. Something bout him having back pain and being addicted to opiates. I dunno. Make some chili. I messed it up big time. Then I sleep.
  21. A day in a half of pies. Tryna make money making Valentines day cards with the guy. Mine is about farting. His is nice. Come home after churchins. Try to find some kinda tool so I can draw good circles. Desk is a mess. Watch lil' wayne videos cuz my friend is into that. I drink this honey whiskey. Then we go to some bar but I forget that I am suppose to be taking pictures. RUSTY. Come home and fall to the floor. Wake up and try to work on this fart card. Dear Internet: I love you. Drive to Consumnes Nature preserve. Fat ducks being fat and cute. There is another area to the preserve that we go to and it is pretty nice. Information.
  22. Typhoon: Hunger and thirst. The sickness unto death and the mouth of the cave.
  23. Dude what he do with them? One of my antique dealer friends scored a whole slew of them from a school like ten er so years ago. He said People were practically giving them away. It makes sense since the Eames were all about mass distribution of their product. It just bums me out that I was too much of a young thang to know. Caligula if the bookshelf thread is still around...I do that. If it isn't we should bring it back. :]
  24. Tanks! Dusting is a chore. I am into cleanliness though so I stay on top of that mess. I got the chair for two. Lil' spensive but it's bootiful.
