  1. Turn the white balance either to flash, or manually up to a warm temp, and bounce it off the ceiling or use ttl. Setting up your camera and flash to commander mode is usually the best since the on camera acts as a fill and the SB-600 is the main light source. Hitting the subject straight on from the shoe is also good if there is enough ambient light and you're not at a high aperture and 1/250 sec. For more ambient and less flash in the shot lengthen the exposure time.
  2. Never in the woods but..... When I was in 7th grade we were having a skip school party at this girls crib who's mom was at work. I took a poloroid shot of my dick as a joke and passed it to the girl who's house we were at. So we were all laughing and decided to run down and leave it on the sidewalk across the street. We all looked out the window to watch and see who would find it and what they would do. Sure enough it was some old middle aged lady that stopped and looked down at it and we all started rofl'n. Bitch picked it up and looked closer for like a minute then put it in her purse and kept it moving. /coolstorybro
  3. Dudes going to be rocking strawberry tic tacs soon, tramps with stamps and hotlink fails. Keep it classy, models and shit, not cum dumpsters.
  4. Probably don't know them then, my boy quit MLK a while back unless he's working there again now.
  5. Dope bike shot angle/timing ^^^ Who's doing that mural, anyone I might know?
  6. No, I'm pretty sure it's fucking rad.
  7. I'd probably smash. Also, mere mortals shouldn't be allowed to design tattoos or websites, even for themselves. Haven't seen myspace in years but clicking that link reminded me why.
  8. Watermelon to the grill and sunglasses are fucking killing it. Need video links.
  9. Mayor mean beans said it better, don't get me wrong though, I've always dug your shots.
  10. I haven't ever taken any photography classes but notice acedemic photographers mainly like shots of people. I guess having more portraits and candid shots would probably help the portfolio.
  11. The SB600 is dope, I got one a while back and still haven't played with all the features. I still need to buy the diffuser and gels kit for it, I think it's only around $20.
  12. If what you're trying to do is a miniaturization you basically want to use the lens blur caused by the tilt to appear as though it's a macro. You have to think where a focal plane would begin and end and rotate the lens until the tilt blur mimics a short focal plane. Having a higher or lower view of the subject only works if you get that false focal plane dialed in. I like tilt shift stuff but generally use it to distort the perspective or give an overwhelming drunken feeling, I rarely go for the miniaturization effect.
  13. These are from last night, sorry about the watermarks, too lazy to double up on the sizing/uploading.
  14. Good thing you quoted the last photo posted in the thread, I would have been lost reading your comment.
  15. I don't know, this thread is pretty good but standards are at an all time in channel zero. If no one says anything it turns into a thread of garbage like this: Thus killing the thread dude put some effort into creating.
