one thing about nikes is that quality now blows. the cracking that happens on the painted midsoles now is unforgiveable, it didn't used to be like that. from 85-95 nike's design was unfuckwithable. but its been over ten years since they made a new shoe that i love. all the brands have gone in the direction of spaceboot looking bullshit though. so i only rock classics. i mean, seriously, got to footlocker and see how ugly shit is. in the 80's and 90's, all the dopest shit was just at your local store. you didn't need to go on ebay or boutiques in nolita to get the good shit. there was no "scene" either. i don't own a pair of dunks, jordans or air forces ones. my taste in sneakers is euroish. a lot of the nike shit i want gets released there and not here. right now, im feeling classic adidas styles with nice quality leather more than anything. don't know why nike can't do that. full grain leather joints with real pigskin inner lining and shit like that. why pay 100$ or more for a sneaker made of pleather? i make exceptions for the pinacle of classic nike design, but still... id rather see retros with better material and construction than 100 crazy random looking colorways with magenta faux iguana skin and bullshit like that. i got those ZX8000 in the white/purple/macaw from a few years back. haven't actually worn them yet. also in the UK, its AM95's and later that are popular. those are the shoes chavs wear. if you don't know what chav is, look it up and you'll understand why people there are down on nikes.

a lot the stuff in this article about how financial systems work is just flat out wrong. what is a "credit agency?" do you mean credit card companies? they don't really do shit, they are only there to facilitate transactions, they have very little power. most of things that get ascribed to credit card companies are actually done by banks(until recently, the credit card companies were owned by the banks, but that's a whole 'nother matter). the main way the money supply is controlled is through interest rates.

Re: US recession is already here well it would be nice if prices dropped that much everywhere, but so far, they are a long way from doing so in most major metroplitan areas. this needs to continue for 5 more years if you ask me. i find the analysis of housing prices in the media ridiculous in that the prospects for home ownership of young people who arent super rich are never taken into account. i've yet to read or hear any pundit or high profile journalist point out that lower housing prices might let all those people under 30 move out their mom's basement.

mescaline i'm sure is banned in every country and real mescaline isn't around much if at all. you probably were given a synthetic mescaline analog or just plain old LSD. dealers call the former mescaline because most people don't know what 2CE or DOM are and the later mescaline because it sounds more exotic than acid which equals more demand and hopefully a higher price. was it a gelatin capsule with white powder inside? if so, probably a synthetic mescaline analogue or other "research chemical" which may or may not have been banned yet in your country. my guess is you took 2 2CI tabs about roughly 15 mg each. a lot of 2CI is around now, especially in the UK. it has a steep response curve. 1 cap is pretty chill but 2 pills is a heavy trip. this is nothing new. "mescaline" pills that were really lsd, pcp or occasionally other things were around a lot in the late 60's, 70's and early 80's. i'd like to hear a little more detail about what you expericenced. what exactly about it didn't you like? heavy nausea?
