i wouldnt call it a fad. i know people who have been riding a fixed gear for fuckin ever. its what i ride and its not for any trandy hipster fashion reasons. i just like it. sucks dick going up and down hills but on mostly flat ground i can haul ass. and im fat and old. it feels fucking weird to ride a bike i dont hve to constantly pedal now. dpesnt feel right. people who talk shit are retarded. its a bike. do you talk down on people who ride mountain bikes on the street? probably not. whatever. bikes bikes bikes. ride ride ride. bout to buy me a new frame. shit yeah.

some dude on a mtn bike asked me as he was shifting into an easier gear and i was passing him going up the closest thing to a hill here how guys on fixed gears can ride them long distances. i said just keep pedaling! haha.

heat/humidity definitely played a major role. i was drinkin powerade and water all day but then started on the king cobra when it was chill time. probably didnt help. riding around when the heat index is like 110 is pretty bunk but unless i ride at 10pm or 4 am every day its kinda unavoidable sometimes.

i hate cramps. every time i ride more than 30 miles at a time i get a vicious cramp in my inner thigh right leg. god damn it sucks. it stll hurts today. motherfuck! one of you super duty tuff work motherfuckers got any advice? besides drink water and eat bananas fools kept saying that last night and im like yo havent you been paying attention did you thinnk those were fucking yellow hotdogs i was eating earlier???? hahah.

works both ways you can loosen it up some if its too stiff. its not the most comfortable thing ive sat on but its fucking light years beyond the torture device that came on my bike.

I have a brooks now but i had a piece of shit from of piece of shit bike that was more comfortable. ive only had the brooks for about a month so i guess i need to give it some time to break in. i think it comes down to how much you ride. you can ride 4 or 5 miles and it wont matter if youre sitting on a fuckin 2x4 wrapped in a sweatshirt like a crackhead. but if youre talkin about 40 or 50 miles you know that might make a difference.

I think this is the most fucked up part. It hasn't happened in awhile but its happened to me a bunch of times. That first time i freaked the fuck out and thought there was someone in my room trying to fucking kill me. haha. man. and once it felt like a tentacle was wrapping around my leg and up around my body. FUCKED UP. Ive tried to explain it to people and theyve never had it happen so it sounds stupid to them i guess when you say some shit about a fucking phantom tentacle trying to crush you. but... fuck it. Lucky them! I noticed someone up there said some shit about sleeping on your back..its happened when i was on my side on my stomach on my back. so i dunno about that.

they allegedly tried to deliver it last thursday but i was home and they didnt leave a notice in the box or on the door. scheduled for redeliver yesterday..WHERES MY SHEEEEIIIITTT?? gonna go get postal on the postal workers if its not here today. the first few times i went it was slower than i like to go but a decent pace for that many people who probably ride a bike once a month. seems to be down to like 10mph now and people are complaining about it being fast! psssh.

critical mass is kind of lame. its supposed to make people aware of bikes being out there on the street and being part of traffic and it just turns into 400 people following no traffic laws at all blowing through every light and stop sign while yelling shit at cars. i still go sometimes because i like riding with a lot of people like that its pretty fun. id be out riding either way. hell my bike ride to/from the starting point is 2-3x longer than the actual ride. haha. i like bikes. mailman better have my fuckingg bottom bracket today or there will be hellll to payyyyyyyy
