Shit man, i wanted it to taste tender, like how i eat it at this brazilian spot, not with a kind of crunch like off the Q. Normally it would be cooked at a high heat, for not much time. I did not want to sear it, it tasted amazing. oh, and that picture was taken like 60 seconds after it had been on the pan and flipped. You all SHOULD BE tripping about why i even cooked it on a pan and not BBQd.

Its Arrachera, or flank steak, i get it at my butcher shop for real real cheap. Guys, normally i bbq it, high heat/directly over the coals, real quick, its easy. but that shit i wanted to cook it real slow, at a low heat, so i could add in some slow cooking veggies and then rice once it was done cooking in the rice steamer. If i had cooked it at a real high heat i woulda had some over cooked meat. Plus i'm lazy, and only wanted to use one frying pan. It still tasted amazing, come over and try some, still got some leftovers.
