  1. You fucking idiot, your life means nothing and i hope you have a terminal illness in the next year you fucking faggot. Yea, ol' dude got caught, had about 53 prior convictions....what the fuck 53!!, she was 83 years old and she got kicked a few times after being punched, about a few days after it happened she was telling everyone that she'll be back to buisness in a few. I remember that lady she used to stay outside the escalator selling umbrelas, she closed down one day and i was stuck in the rain. Villain.....haha. baltimore fucking sucks, when a gust of wind blows be sure to turn your back to it unless you want a heaping of trash, liquids and maybe a dead rat or two. I forgot where you can access the cameras in the d.c area but it's a nice site to watch especially during the protests.

  16. yea, thanks for the advice, my proportions are so skewered, even when i have a model in front of me ive yet to fully capture it. yea i know about shadows, good tip ill add some, most of my work has it but i always miss it at times. Right now im venturing into the world of trying to imitate the techniques of the masters, it's difficult and so time consuming, as opposed to these thrown together art peices, to us a work that takes 3 weeks might seem long, but in reality that's short compared to how the masters used to take, 18 months at times, 3 years even on some, paitence is key and that's what's alluding (sp?) most every artist in this dy and age.
  17. current stuff, The only one that's finished is the bear and my feeble attempt at doign watercolor, more practice is in my future with that. , and the framed one.
  18. I was just touching on how many "artist" dont know what art really is. That it's not just a quick scheme to get cash, in the time of the master painters they painted because they were trying to find a correlation with god and the world of men (some not all) and nowadays theres no real motivating factor behind art except that wall that we all try to get over, the only motivating factor is that spark inside us telling us to get better.
  19. I think that most everyone has missed a point that nobody has hit on yet. Everyone is out for acceptance, everyone wants and audience and it feels good, a lot of this graffiti on canvas crap is just that, crap and that's not going to go nowhere (minus joker, but that's a completely different world then what most of this shit is) so painting a can and putting some letters on there isnt anything special, it's played and lame, now when someone puts art onto a canvas if they are only focused on the admiration from peers then what exactly is the point if it doesnt satisfy you? and the squiggling paint and putting paper on is and calling it abstract that what not, that's not abstract, most people should look at a canvas and think "does this mean anything to me" and when asked "does this mean anything to you" you should know exactly what it means, not just say...i did it in a minute. In our modern time there is no more bestowed gifts from god like the masters of yesteryear, there is only a self induced motivating factor to reach far and beyond what is already placed before us by real artist , the rest ( most people in this thread) just see a sliver of hope in crappy work that they might get rich off of.
  20. JESUS..FUCKING..>CHRIST......wow. that was just wow.
  21. not that im mr. art superstar over here , but ill never understand why people buy a canvas to do what could suffice in a blackbook...it's not art people. really.
