    @ndv It really is crazy watching people getting whipped into a frenzy of buying other peoples acceptance. Hah. I was talking with my man and his wife a few years ago and this topic came up about us not giving gifts to each other based on the calendar. His wife was looking at me not quite like a piece of shit, but close. She said I cant believe you dont celebrate each others birthdays. I told her a birthday doesnt have any special meaning when you celebrate each other every day. She looked at her husband and said I want you to celebrate me every day. He looked at me and said Fuck you. Lol. I gave him an out and I dont think he took it.

    Thats dope. My wife and I stopped doing Christmas and birthdays like 8 or 9 years ago. We both realized that the societal pressure of the gift giving ritual was fucking nonsense and went our own way. We laugh amongst ourselves when we hear people talk about how they are going to be paying their christmas credit card off for the whole year, just in time to rack it up again.

    @swif1no problem man. I didnt really care for the gucci oud the first few times I wore it and definitely didnt like it before dry down. It grew on me, though.

    Im curious. Every one of these ive ever had i cut wood that fits down into the groove of the track. But I am always curious about new ways to get back into "my own" house (wink wink) should I ever lock myself out (nudge nudge).

    @KILZ FILLZInteresting, man. I would look into what the HOAs responsobilities are. Also check if they were the ones that replaced the door the last time. If they did, ask them what the fuck this nonsense is about and tell them you need a door that you can lock properly. Lol. That shits funny though.

    @KILZ FILLZ The best cure for that slider is to cut down a section of wood closet rod to length and throw it down in the door track to block it from being able to slide. I was also looking at "These things right here" as an option for kick proofing a house.

    I like what ever that mega big striker plate is. If you shoot some 3 inch screws in there and tie that thing into the stud, some one might break their foot trying to kick your door in. Toothpicks and wood glue would work as well. You really just need something new for the threads to bite down on.

    Yeah that kind of repair is a pain in the ass. Id fill it with bondo like you said. That shit is really tough to work with though. You would have to mortice the patch so that your striker plate sits flush with the jamb or your door might catch on it.

    Haha. That's amazing. I need to unpack my kitchen boxes and even see what we have. Its been two years now and we still arent unpacked all of the way. I know we have some kind of ceramic ware already... but I cant remeber what.
