injury
..injury, you are thinking of foreign nationals. they are less than human so we don't give them their rights i'm not down for that but clearly things are getting really nuts, and there won't be anything to stop them if they can actually cobble together a republican prez candidate i think i've shared this story on here before, but i've personally been detained by baltimore homicide and then questioned by homeland security for taking pictures of trains. Whole ordeal took about 8 hours. It happens to US citizens, too.

Obama is part of the problem. You fail to realize that they're not going to be rounding you up unless you're fucking with Al Qaeda. The real problem with this country is the fact that nobody fucking votes other than the vocal minority who tend to be evangelical redneck republicans. So even when people do finally get off their asses and vote for a president that isn't some right wing neo-con, the vocal minority just wait two years and vote in a congress that's main goal is to obstruct and prevent that president from accomplishing shit. mountain dew
You fail to realize that they're not going to be rounding you up unless you're fucking with Al Qaeda. You fail to realize this is the US Government we are talking about. For years they have been doing whatever they want, this is just one more law that gives them the power to do so. It is unconstitutional. If you are fine with them taking away constitutional rights, fine, whatever, but I am not. Has anyone ever been arrested for a crime they didn't commit? Sure. Has anyone ever been sentenced to death, then later found out (after being out to death) that they were innocent? Sure. Could the US Goverment detain the wrong person, not question them or listen to why they are "innocent" and have no trial to prove why they are "guilty"? Now they can. And that is the problem. The INTENT of this law is for terrorist, but that is just the start. That is why it was passed, but it is not written and it is not clear that only terrorist. If Obama views you as a threat to the country, maybe because you have a right-winged anti-Obama blog, you could be detained. Read the law, read how vague much of it is if you don't believe me. This COULD (potentially) be used for the wrong reasons. This is the problem with laws like this. 12packprophet
Obama had house and senate majority until January 3rd, 2011. He had plenty of time to try to pass whatever the heck he wanted to. The democrats still have control of the senate. And during that time he accomplished health care reform which the Republicans are vowing to repeal, and gave a tax break to the working class which the Republicans just tried and failed to get rid of after fighting tooth and nail to preserve Bush's tax breaks for the filthy rich. He's also managed to end the war in Iraq with a Republican majority, and we have Republican presidential candidates talking about we should send our troops back into Iraq. Obama has been too pussy with trying to get along with these Republicans who's sole mission is to destroy his presidency at whatever cost to the country, but he could be a lot worse. And if one of these fucktards becomes our next president the shit is really going to hit the fan. So talk all the shit you want on Obama's performance, but look at the alternatives who are running for his job right now.
