Seph Posted December 25, 2007 Share Posted December 25, 2007 hahaha, i got the touch, its fucking great (ill post flix later) downside, is its only 16gbs max, id say wait a little longer then theyll upgrade it to a 30 and drop the price of the current ones. AND the batts last like 2-3 hrs max. jailbreaking it can let you install all kinds of shit, including a NES, GBA, PSX emulator, other shit like google maps, a dictionary, zip codes, the weather, book readers, notes, etc You can customize the shit out of it as long as its jailbreaked.. Your firmware has to be 1.1.1 If it's 1.1.2 you need to downgrade it (which doesn't change anything noticeable). From there, direct your Ipod touch's Safari browser to www.jailbreakme.com Scroll to the bottom ON YOUR DEVICE NOT ON YOUR PC and click "appsnap installer" It will crash your browser on purpose (don't worry). Simply slide and unlock your device again and you'll see a new "Installer" icon. Click it and let it go through the motions. From there, pick your apps and enjoy. Very easy...I did it in minutes. You can also Google it and there's Youtube tutorials. Read up on it or watch a video tutorial before you try it if you're not computer savvy. I don't want to hear crying later, Even if you did screw up, it's totally reversible.
