Keep highlights consistent. Do a simpler 3d for now. It might be a good idea to sketch more before you start painting so you don't get in trouble for painting bad graffiti. There's never nothing to paint. Check out local industrial areas, train tracks, bridges, drainage ditches, freeway walls, etc. The best places to paint are on DOT and railroad property.
