angelofdeath Posted November 28, 2006 Share Posted November 28, 2006 Re: What's your favorite gun? i love 1911's. i wouldnt want it chrome, but thats just me. you have to know how to work with your hands if you own a 1911. the glock in my house is still a great gun. thing i like about them is you dont have to clean it, and they never jam. i've never had my 1911 jam, unless it was bad ammo. i just dont like the glocks as much just because they are light and im not a big fan of the trigger. What do you mean have know be good with your hands? just saying..... there is alot of taking it apart, cleaning, oiling. if you are not into tinkering or are clumsy, you dont want a 1911. even cocked and locked, those things are dangerous with the single action trigger. where as glocks have all the different safety devices. i got a pic of mine somewhere.......hold up. nope, actually i dont. its a USGI 1911 from 1918, rebuilt in ww2 with a remington rand slide. The trigger safety feature of a glock is one of the reasons im putting a piece of my paycheck away into a fund every two weeks The glock 23 is almost within my buying reach.
