everytime i burn a cd and then play it i hear the song but with a loud static to it kinda like a fucked up base or a screwed up radio station any ideas...

thanks

you burning cd's at max speed? what are you ripping them with?

just downloading off itunes?

if it's itunes related, it's DRM protection.

if not, you may be burning the cd too fast. try the next up from the lowest speed (4x or something)

also, try this for cd ripping http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/

try nero if you're not using it. it's about the best cd/dvd burner out.

Yo computer dudes...

any idea why when i try and play this podcast video thing it wont play (see pic)

It is mpeg-4 type but I cant even see it in when using 'open file' in other players unless i go to file type: 'any type' of file.

Surely itunes should be able to play this shit.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden - She is a latecomer to the information superhighway, but 75-year-old Sigbritt Lothberg is now cruising the Internet with a dizzying speed.Lothberg's 40 gigabits-per-second fiber-optic connection in Karlstad is believed to be the fastest residential uplink in the world, Karlstad city officials said.

In less than 2 seconds, Lothberg can download a full-length movie on her home computer —many thousand times faster than most residential connections, said Hafsteinn Jonsson, head of the Karlstad city network unit.

no im not sure if its yer burner or not it could be simple shit

did you do a system restore to the last time the burner worked?

did you check the drive to see if it has dust or anything on the lens

did you run a virus scan (some viruses cause goofy things like disabling the burners drivers and shit to stop you from making backups of data when you want to reformat the harddrive)

ummm does it totally not burn or does it cop out on the disc while writing?

is it data files or music files

are you running a bunch of things while burning the cd (thats a no no unless you got enough ram and processor power)

whens the last time you defraged the harddrive (fragmented harddrives cause bunner underruns because it has to search the fragmented harddrive to find the data and causes it to skip and shit

check upgrades for the burning software you are using

ummmm screensaver come on while burning (disable that from happening)

thats all i can think of right now

check them do the system restore first if that dont work check the framention on the drive ,defrag if needed

run virus scan

check for updates

if all that dont work get a new burning
