Got caught last night scribbing over 23 shop windows.... and they have it all on CCTV.... What makes it worse though is i am a american citizen in the UK..... already spent 20 hours in a cell... and the estimated fine is about 10,000 pounds.... (roughly 20,000$ ...) any legal advice would be helpful for in court but i already know i am fucked cause 90% of it is on tape.... :burn: :hatred: :burn: :hatred: :burn: :hatred: :burn: :hatred:

You're fucked.

£10,000 is probably an underestimate for 23 windows.. can't be bothered to read the thread but anything over £8,000 damage they can lock you up for. Not to say they will, but be ready. If you pleaded 'guilty' during interview you'll also get a reduced sentence. Hopefully you kept your mouth shut and the CCTV they have on you isn't that great..

Leave the country or take a toothbrush to court, good luck.

on the subject of cameras, i was painting last night and looked up to notice a camera pinting sort of im ny general direction. whats the quality on those things? should i be worrying about getting busted?

Only if uv recently had a criminal record, i meen i wouldnt worry about it. I cant see the police really paying a whole lot of attention to a video of some kid painting a wall anyways.

Here some advise.....DONT DROP THE SOAP! just kidding bro, this sucks.

If I were you I'd go extreme one way or the other: either deny and say you're getting framed, or admit straight away and hope to get the least punishment. I'd personally prefer the deny option, and get some friends to testify and make an aliby that you were chillin with them somewhere.

Oh and maybe this can help http://www.12ozprophet.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=21895

run your ass off .. in the oposite direction of your house/ friends house, or wherever u were before u went painting ...hide somewhere till u get your breathe....then i personally wear a jumper then something udnerneath...and a hat, i take off the hat and jumper so i look totally different .. and then casually walk home. by the way if u have a hoodie that counts as a hat just use something to cover your face so they dont see your hair color

The English justice sytem is all over the place, there's not continuity AT ALL. This is a while ago, but a judge gave a writer 5 YEARS for quite a hefty amount of damage over a long period of time - then the next day gave someone 18 months for manslaughter.

Being a non-UK citizen I doubt you will go down, I would imagine you will get a real hefty fine and they may confiscate your passort until it is cleard.

Oh, and about two weeks ago, some kid from near me got 90 days FOR ONE TAG.

If you are on bail - RUN, they wont chase you back to the U.S.
