I only like 'em when they're realistic, you know, like a panel piece or an e2e, in real life you can only reach so high. And the lines have to be proportionate too, some of those cars have lines that are way too fat.

OTHER SCALE TRAINS ARE MORE EXPENSIVE AND DONT HAVE AS MANY SELECTIONS COMPARED TO HO. BEST WAY TO GET TRAINS ARE USED. YOU GET A GRIP FOR NOTHING. ALL TRAIN SHOPS HAVE USED SECTIONS. ON OLDER TRAINS YOU MAY HAVE TO CHANGE YOUR COUPLERS TO KNUCKLE. THERES 2 TYPES OF COUPLERS USED. BUT RECENTLY ALL COMPANIES DECIDED TO GO WITH ONE KNUCKLE COUPLER SO ALL TRAINS CAN HOOK TOGETHER.

 

TO ALL FR8 WITH GRAFF COLLECTORS. I RECOMMEND YOU SPRAY YOUR TRAIN WITH KRYLON CLEAR COAT. ALOT OF THE MODEL TRAIN CARS ARE PAINTED WITH A CHEAP POWDERED PAINT. PAINT MARKERS MAY IN TIME FUCK WITH THE FACTORY PAINTED FR8. SEAL YOUR SHIT. SO THEY LAST A LONG TIME. IM BUILDIN A TRACK ALONG THE CEILING OF MY ROOM, GONNA HAVE A LINE OF 20 CARS CIRCLING.

 

BEST COMPANIES TO BUY FR8S FROM- ATHEARN#1 COMPANY FROM COMPTON. THEY HAVE THE BEST DETAIL AND ARE CHEAP. ACCURAIL, BACHMAN, AND WALTHERS ARE GOOD TO.

Yall cats haven't found the section at the hobbyshop for autoracks? Damn, their dope as hell, bout $20 though, Walthers makes em for HO scale. Also have any of yall seen those prepainted special edition cars, I know their is a Nace t2b smoothside hopper, and a Wisconsin Central n2n box by some various cats. Also in some model railroader mags their is some ads for dealers that make scale graffiti decals that are pretty fresh and taken from real graf. Also in one of the recent issues this one guy took flix of a caboose in Portland with Jaber/Diar and someone else on it, scanned em to his computer, made a decal out of it, and then used it on his N scale caboose, that shit was dope all weathered up and rolling.
