-Rage-
Mother(*^!@)*(#$&)!*(*()!*()*()()!()(((!(#$&)*(!#&*%$%%!~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was JUST finished replying to everyone and my computer crashes. FUCKSHIT! here goes again. fuck. yoink, yea I've gotten a lot of good feeback about the lens and a lot of good pictures too. It's like I finally have the money to support my love of photography so I am buying more stuff and I am able to get my shit developed by the right people. I miss developing it myself though. I need to make my own lab. jbrshmonster, naw man, the color photo is much much better. The red hand prints make you eye move to the blue wall and then the orange towel and back around again. The B&W print only seems to focus on the handprints themselves. pescado, if you get rid of the "<-- Me" and the date in the bottom right the photo would be a lot better. Keep it up. Guest imported_Tesseract
Pretty fuckin good for 2 hours of sleep. I totally agree...like in any field 75% percent is pretencious...there are cases where someone just plays the same card cause its just hip and he has the 'talent' to copy it and there are cases where someone evolves by trying things out...i have absolutely no problem with the second case just as long as you skip phases..influence works as a boost to get you someplace else...as time passes by you're suposed to draw conclusions of your own... I wont talk about the fraud on all the art fields..from graffiti to sculpture where someone might get more credit on a larger, and usually less educated, audience by biting the shit out of someone that spends his time working on his stuff than socialising. Trends are kinda dangerous, you can see it here to on a smaller scale...there are 12oz trends on photography, abandoned houses, traffic at night, trains and i guess girls (but none of us likes the idea of every greaseball in here drooling over our girl, so fuck that)...I'm not accusing anyone in here for biting and stuff, my best bet is that it mostly has to do with the character of this entire forum and the similarities of the things we do in general, that may be a larger trend to but its a big discussion. To end, i myself get influenced by pretty much everything i like, i see a dope ese nightshot and i get curious on how its done, i go out and shoot one...hopefully, while experimenting i'll shoot something else that feels more mine...i see a dope Tyler or Rage B&W flick and i start thinking about messing with that...you see a location and you remember about something similar you should take flicks of...i dont see anything wrong with that as long as you always question your motives and the product of an experiment is a lesson taught.
