vinyl junkie Posted February 16, 2003 Share Posted February 16, 2003 i'm bored... here's some thoughts about the night... 1) my old boss is 33... he is now dating a girl that remembers me from high school as "the hot older guy with the tattoos"... i don't remember her at all... she was a freshman when i was a junior... meaning she's 19... 2) getting drunk with the dj on the radio and knowing there's at least a few thousand people listening is really rather entertaining... 3) the "tastes like ass but gets you fucked up quick" beers thati used to love don't really sit well with me any more... now i'm liking the ones i used to hate... kinda sucks... 4) i've developed a bit of a taste for coffee... now i can spend the money i don't have on cigarettes and coffee... shit... 5) i have a blind date tomorrow... never done this before... i'm looking forward to it... 6) conjoined at the colon- cycle of shit... 7) boo yeah, cooter... 8) there was at least a couple more things i was gonna write... oh well... I was wondering if you knew how much it would cost for me to have a rear window defroster put on it...just ballpark figure. so youre saying that your back glass doesnt have the capability of having a defroster or it does and it doesnt work? - if your glass is just glass and doesnt have the heater line thingys in it, i would suggest going to a local wrecking yard or a glass shop and asking if they have one with the heater line thingys in it, it will simply replace your window and im sure the wiring wouldnt be hard to rig up seeing as how im pretty sure there is an extra fuse spot not being used estimated price depends on what quality of glass you buy id say anywhere from 100-250, unless you find a junkyard piece if your back glass does have the heater line thingys and they just dont work, first check the fuse for the defroster, and if its not burnt, i would just suggest you go to a mechanic and ask him to check it out. worst case scenario is that ford bronco 2's dont have heated glass as an option, but i highly doubt this, but if it is true you could just rig a fan in the back to blow up onto your window, although a defroster would be much better at the job. but if it comes down to this, i can tell you how to rig it up to a fuse and your battery and a switch and all that shit Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
