It's not the tool's fault, small multi-tools like that aren't meant for high-torque jobs like putting on/removing pedals, especially if they aren't greased. It can apply too much torque to the wrong parts of the body of the tool. Don't talk down on Park because you don't have the right tool for the job, they make quality shit. Just buy an L allen wrench and actually get some torque on there...

My grips have never spun and I've never used a locking grip. I used hairspray once but I used too much and that shit took like a week to dry, I haven't used it since. Destroyed some trails today, I want a computer so I can see how my speed is on those super rolling winding singletrack sections.

I've never had a locking mechanism on any grip and I've never had an issue, you have grips fly off often? No particles, they're more sticky than anything else. Better than Oury's, who everyone has and I find crazy uncomfortable. I'll take pictures of them on my bike tomorrow, definitely look different in person.

MTB heads- these are the best grips ever made. Word is bond. Trico squeezers, mine are clear though.
