This old ass building for sure. At least the back door opens freely now and the floor isn’t bulged up haha this door is a pain starting with only 2 hinges. In order to remove one I have to really prop the door up or remove both pins haha

the door swings all the way open unless it’s all the way closed. i want it to stay in place during the summer it does it because of the house swell. and fall/winter it subsides. it drives me nuts. Sometimes I want it open halfway or a little bit. youtubed a bunch and saw that putting a slight bend in your door pins will allow the door to hold in place. it worked until the temp dropped now it’s back to swinging open.

Went yesterday to ER. Worth the four hours for a dr note excusing me from work until I see an ortho. i genuinely want relief. I can’t walk after lunch typically and am exasperating a previous injury (torn labrum in my opposite hip) by overcompensating. I make sure I repeat these facts. they even asked if I knew the time of the initial injury and I actually know a 30 min window where we can go back and look at cameras. good looks @fat ralphy I am saying “work related “ about every 50 words haha thank you @KILZ FILLZim notorious for that paper trail. And that def can’t be denied at work. But I would have overlooked things like ‘details of convo’ type stuff. I now have time to backfill some info. my supervisor has been greatly supportive and upset they didn’t give me the days off without having to go through all that. She’s glad I did. Kinda haha. They’re short staffed already next week but not my problem. @mr.yuckthey only Did another X-ray. Im sure they were sticking to bare minimum ANYTHING and i believe part of why it took so long yesterday was approval shit. An anti inflammatory, a muscle relaxer (not classed with Soma) and some topical lidocaine were the Rxs written I’ve been in bed all day and am able to walk fucking normal about my house still. By this time of night usually it’s too swollen to allow movement. I’m chillin for the next several days. thanks for all the notes and support y’all.

I appreciate all those good words. Thank you. i get it. And I’m real good about those little things becaue I have seen processes around the facility get real formal for safety and liability reasons. We even do something as tedious as daily ladder inspections with a 12 point checklist to all 20 of our ladders and moving platforms. They are big about safety and training consistently. I make sure to do and to train all them tedious tasks. I emailed my HR this morning, and told her that I feel like the injury is getting worse and after today I need to take the days off until my Dr appt. Which would be 3 whole working days. she called back after talking to the case manager and her response was “looking at the paperwork from your last visit with a Dr (which was the urgent care) it states light duty with no squatting or kneeling and nothing has changed on the paper work”. She also said.”it says if conditions worsen to go to an ER” so not really willing to give me days off on their bill i may skip my ass to the er and and fulfill the orders in place. and see if he can gimme some bed rest or I sincerely feel like I’m gonna fuck it up more, daily. and I don’t want anything to be null and void if I have already stated that i feel it getting worse. And she re-stated the part about going to the ER if conditions worsen.

My company doesnt drug test and the claim has already been accepted. plus I’m a patient so it’s in my blood anyway and I’m like the only one who doesn’t smoke at work and everyone knows it. It’s a running joke at the facility. They know I hate going outside during work hrs also. We are covered in cameras and the paper trail has been solid so far. my hr has been good with guiding me and she says I don’t have to share any of my medical with her at all

The end of the month last month I did some shit to my knee. But at work. While working. Went to an urgent care 2 days later because mobility became almost nothing and the bruising started to show. I’m waiting to see an ortho now and my appointment is next week as urgent care only has an X-ray machine and my follow up proved they need to look further. I can’t do any ladder work or squatting so I’m at work like wtf am I supposed to do now. tgisvis our company’s first work comp. Yay me. 🤦🏻‍♀️ anyone got anything I need to be aware of dealin with work comp? I was always an independent contractor and have never had shit like this to deal with. Ha

i still pass out candy. I love passing out candy. I fucked up last year and posted up at my front door and decorated that to signal this is where the candy is at -but all the traffic was in the alley in the back. It’s more like a lil back street. That’s why I’m doin the back this year. We thought of a pumpkin. I’ll probably grab one. Also here and there you’ll find em at like a local business or the bar down the street even for like $5. Plus the pumpkin is great for dogs. They’ll love it. My hounds went nuts for pumpkin.
