    There’s a mentality that you can’t be racist if you’re black. And no one can hold you accountable for racism or they’re racist. It’s a messed up logic that’s been built over the last year. When BLM first came around I was all for it, because I believed it’s intentions were to rid racism... but it’s done quite the opposite. America needs people of power talking about this type of stuff, but no one can or they’ll be cancelled and their careers will be ruined. So there internet will just fuel more extremism and it’s only going to get worse. Unfortunate to say the least.

    Was scrolling through Reddit and ran into a large amount of videos displaying racist assaults (both physically and verbally) on Asian people. Sensitive subject, but genuinely curious on opinions. Seems to be an idea of “racist free pass” going on. But from many of my Asian friends, it’s been an issue they just keep silent about. Would it be fair to suggest BLM takes accountability for the increase of racism in their community? Once again - I’m hoping to gather a better view point on a complex issue. 12oz has some very extreme differences in political beliefs and everything in between so figured it’s a good spot.

    There were record mass shootings in 2019 if I recall correctly. It’s not political. Regardless of what Botha sides say. It’s a mental health issue in our country. Wrath lust and gluttony. Over indulgence. It’s a nasty state.

    The warped minds of those who developed on the internet should be studied. There’s too much money in social media/Reddit to ever be acknowledged that it is arguably more destructive than drugs. Hard to measure since the damage isn’t necessarily physical.

    If you date out of your own race there will be guys who don’t like you strictly for that reason. No matter what race you are and what race you’re dating. Just how it is. But that doesn’t matter. Like dhabs said. Spend time with people you like.

    @ndv I’d ditch the serious mass. You need so much powder to even meet servings. If you want to put on weight, use regular protein powder and drink a double serving of this: (picture below) Oatmeal is a good base for the morning. Essentially just pay attention to what you eat. You can use supplements, but food is what will make the real growth. Also - That bowflex barbell is nice, but buying a bar and a few 5 -10lb plates will do the same thing for the fraction of the price. You can even get them used at a lot of resale stores. When you’re first starting, it is nice having something shiny to get started, but my personal advice is to invest in the essentials and see if you want to make it a habit, then consider putting more money down of equipment.

    There was a shooting at a Cleveland diner yesterday. 3 shot 2 killed 4 total injured. I don’t mind gun ownership to a certain degree, but if you claim that guns aren’t a major problem in America then you are a fool.
