yeah, i think the airwalk "jim" shoe was the first of the low production airwalks. from there shit hit the fan. i actually bought a pair of 540s from marshall's...kinda crazy. i used to order my airwalks from Texas, from a mail order company called Estes.. they arent around any longer.

airwalks were the shit, then they turned to shit as soon as they got popular. their technology and durability went down the drain in the matter of months... the last airwalks that were dope were the Sorry's. lace protection was key. my 540's lasted sooooo long.

they also broke barriers of having an all suede sneaker, and having other colors int he world besdies a black or white sneaker...

i dont know about beating porsches, but i can beat a wrx in my vr, stock for stock. its dumb hard to launch a wrx, without destroying your tranny, whereas a vr has torque to get a jump. ive beat 5.0 stangs, for the same reason, launching...is key. im sure you have seen newbies with cobras, only running 14s or so..because they either have no traction or bog... and yes, it takes a lot of money to get a watercooled vw into the 10s, and forget about the single digits...that takes sponsors. the fastest vw on the planet is owned by a couple of friends of mine at c&m performance. the world record is 9.69 c&m performance ran 9.692 at Fall Show n Go...in their tube frame jetta.

I downloaded some albums, but they are in WMA format. How do i get these files to play in iTunes? [mac] they wont import into my playlists. Windows Media Player for OS X isnt like the PC version, where you can setup playlists and burn audio cds... any options?

im on my third vw, might be going onto my 4th owned 3 mk3 gti vr6's. not the best on gas at all. i suggest a TDI. but like it was mentioned, vw's are for enthusiasts who dont mind getting their hands dirty every once in a while.
