I doubt it. I look the furthest thing from a wook. In fact, from the looks of me you'd think I listened to hardcore punk, though I don't at all. Having my physical appearance attempt to define who I am is something I stopped doing when I was a teenager. Hell, I don't even listen to any other "Jambands" other than GD and PH, and I was going to see those bands before that crappy genre term had ever been created. Labels are for kids. Individuality is for grown ups.

I find LSD to be much more rewarding nowadays than I ever did in my teens and twenties.

Also, also, also, Shai, I caught a further show over the summer and it sucked. Somehow Phil and friends can still do it for me, but you throw fake Jerry and Bobby into the mix and you get something much less than the sum of it's parts. Then again, Phish is touring again, so I'm all good.

Fucking with the wrong hippies can get someone really spun out on LSD for a really long time. I always liked that about hippies. Then again, hippies are getting close to their 70's so they might not be as quick with the wash so it probably doesn't happen much.

My condolences. I just buried one of my oldest and best friends on Wednesday. He had been shooting dope for the past 15 years with clean spells only when he was in the joint. He didn't get to go to any of the funerals for his mother, father, or sister who all died from dope overdoses because they all happened during his stints in prison. I watched heroin kill an entire family, and it was fucking painful. I'm not trying to one up you on some worse drug overdose post, but reading your post, it seems fitting to empathize with you. It sucks man, and you are absolutely right- anyone who makes a habit from shooting opiates will eventually die from it. I'm tired of going to fucking funerals.

Your only bet for 24 hour food is the South street diner or there's this store/deli on mass ave in Cambridge near Porter sq. that is open all night. A lot of the night life aspects to Boston are epic failures, but if you poke around and make friends with people who are making things happen, you can have a good time here.

Assuming one were to consider marijuana a considerably low functioning psychedelic, I'm curious to what kind of an experience you'd get from taking a lot of this stuff, coming from a non-pot high perspective. Have you or anyone you know taken enough to get to 'tripping balls' and what is it like?

Right on. I can see where you're coming from. I'm not trying to knock anyone on smoking it. I just couldn't get down like that. I can't imagine anyone would regularly. The beer alternative I can totally dig, though.

^^^ I'm saying. I can't understand what the incentive is to smoke this shit as an alternative to marijuana. Passing a drug test just doesn't seem worth it. I'd rather just not smoke marijuana for the time.
