what's the best skateboard movie (not video)

    i was kind of torn, but i think thrashin is better than gleaming the cube. i feel that modern day skateboarding is seriously lacking in jousts as well as downhill skateboard karate fights. that movie grind was the fucking stupidest thing i've ever seen--luckily i didn't pay any money to watch it.

    i caught a little bit of Thrashin' on tv last nite. But I've gotta say, it does not compare with Gleaming the Cube.

    yea, animal chin is pretty much the hottest thing ever, but i would still classify it as a skate video. we're talking about motion pictures where skaters are only the stunt doubles and not the actual stars--that played in the movie theatres. actually i guess i could have included dogtown and z-boys, but that's on a whole other level. i'm talking cornball hollywood movies about skateboarding.
