AORAone
a friend of mine got a 67 mustang for his 16th birthday, he and his dad were supposed to build it together. the day after his birthday they tore the car apart, everything, it now sits in his garage half-way put back together, his dads too buisy and he has done everything he knows how to do, so hes kinda at a stalemate with it. hes 20 now, so its been awhile. it would have been badass if he got it all together and running again, but i dont really see it happening anytime soon. GLIK$
The most Ive done is engine swapping, and engine rebuilding, its fun but a lot of time and effort. I worked at an engine machine shop for about 3 years.
The Leader
I'm going to be getting a 70-73 volvo 1800e and just starting from scratch. The only thing that will be original is the body and the frame. Here comes a long haul.

Frate_Raper
it will most likely be a rebuild/build up.......I simply don't know shit about cars and want to learn.
The Leader
Rebuilds are hard too man. Good luck with that. You are going to have to make sure everything is within specs and.. ugh.. you are going to fucking hate dial indicators. HATE THEM. unless you are just not going to check specs. CACashRefund
I helped a friend rebuild a 1983 Buick Riviera Convertible similar to the one shown below. He bought it in pretty shitty condition, we took the beast apart. Replaced any faulty/missing parts. Installed a kickin' sound system, stupid amount of bass. He had it candy painted and now its reallly hot shit.
sleepyceas2-
got a 87 pontiac fiero GT and dropped a corvette 350 LS1 in it, new adjustable suspension, 13" brakes. gonna hook that shit up, easily goes
The Leader
What? How did you accomplish that? Isn't the Vette engine alittle large for the space the Fiero allows?
GREENOJOS
i want to get one of those older cars, like a 64 impala or another one thats fast and pretty big, and hook it up like they do it on those old school car shows. then give it some cali style. sleepyceas2-
the fiero has enough room, the motor fits transverse, plus the cars midengine. also its a small block
