seeking Posted February 3, 2002 Share Posted February 3, 2002 if you havent read this book, which im willing to bet most of you havent, your missing out. its seriously hillarious. if you ever read 'hammer of the gods' and thought bonzo shoving a fish inside some girl was as crazy as it gets, you have no idea... even if you cant stand motley crue, its still fresh. its like a vh1 behind the music episode, no matter how much you hate them at first, by the end of it you'll be crying right along with them....im not even kidding, i actually cried at part of it... its good. thats all. mapo wc Posted February 3, 2002 Share Posted February 3, 2002 i saw it at the bookstore, looked pretty good because i like behind the music type shit. but it was like $30 and im too cheap. i wish someone would make a site sorta like warez..except they scan every page of a book and post them online. so theyre free. i swear that would be a popular site. whats with tommy lee these days? he seems to think hes a rapper or something. remember a few years ago there was some concert he was a part of..and the security guy was black, and apparently he didnt like the way the securtiy guy was treating the fans..so he starts yelling for the fans to all jump him, and calls him a nigger, etc. he was going all out too, hes like, 'beat this niggers ass, theres alot more of you than there are of him, etc". the fans just kinda stood there stunned, but i think the security guy said alot of people were spitting on him. i was surprised when it never became a big story. seeking, what do you think of 12oz having contests? kinda like thesmokinggun.com. i think it would be dope. not anything like 'whoever sends in the best picture wins..', more like just stupid trivia type stuff and pick a winner at random. the winner could win a bag of caps or something. i think it'd be cool. but what do i know, im nocturnal. Also, Tommy Lee backed him up in a Spin magazine interview (I found the quote and included it). I think its wack how little publicity this got, thats why Im not surprised even a Crue fan like yourself knows about it. The Earth" tour is living up to its billing once again. At a recent stop in Greensboro, North Carolina Crue bassist Nikki Sixx went ballistic on a security guard who Sixx thought he saw being rough with some fans. During the show, Sixx reportedly saw a security guard shining a light in the eyes of a female fan, who was sitting on the shoulders of another fan. Then midway through the show, Sixx thought he saw the same guard roughing up a fan near the stage, and the bassist began hurling obscenities and racial slurs at the guard, who happened to be black [900k Audio File]. The band is allowing fan's to videotape their shows this time out, and a fan caught the incident on tape. "We're not going to play any more songs. You know why? Because this security a** hole in the front is punching you motherf***ers, and you deserve better than that," Sixx yells from the stage in the footage. "You're a big f***ing black man. You feel pretty good beating up a little girl. F*** you! You know what you motherf***ers? Kick this f***ing guy's ass. Kick this motherf***er's ass. There's more of you than there is of him. "How's that feel you a** hole, you f***ing nigger? Don't call me a f***ing racist man because then you are a f***ing nigger, because nobody treats another human being like that! Suck my d***!" [5MB QuickTime] Sixx's verbal attack has left the security service for which the guard worked considering legal action against the band. Meanwhile, the Greensboro ABC affiliate WXLV caught up with fans after the show and heard tales of overly-physical security guards at the concert. "He just grabbed me and slammed me on the ground and about four or five other guys jumped on top of me also," said Chris Harker, who says he was thrown out of the show before Sixx went on his tirade. "He just went towards the stage like fans do," another fan, Brian Hudson, said of what he saw at the show. "The security guard walked over to him, didn't push him aside, didn't do anything like that, he just punched him." The Crüe did go on with the show, and finished its set without incident. "You want us to play? Then don't take no shit ever," However, several of the 2,500 fans who came out to the 6,000-seat Greensboro Coliseum were kicked out of the show. No further comment yet from Crüe, who play San Antonio, Texas on Friday. The Greensboro incident is the latest chapter in what is shaping up to be a rocky tour for the Crue. As we first reported two weeks ago, the tour caused quite an uproar in Pittsburgh where a local DJ shocked everyone, including the Crüe, by showing a porn flick before the band took the stage. Police are pinning that one on the DJ. seeking Posted February 3, 2002 Author Share Posted February 3, 2002 mapo, fair enough... im hardly a 'hardcore' crue fan, i just happend to get passed the book by a friend. the only thing i can say is that it was a stupid comment, made in the vein of 'there is a difference between blacks and niggers, and nigger just means ignorant, so anyone, of any color can be a nigger.' i ofcourse dont agree with that line of thinking, but im pretty sure thats where they were coming from. especially after reading the book and finding out that all of nikkis friends growing up were mexican, and mick was in a dozen blues/jazz bands with blacks and mexicans... blah blah blah... ive recently sort of had a change of heart when it comes to racist stuff. at one time, i would have been completely outraged at nikki for saying such a thing, but after listening to 'da lench mob' album the other day, and hearing 7000 comments about killing crackers/devils/whites.... honestly, fuck everyone. im not gonna be anymore upset at nikki for using the word nigger in an off the handle manner, than i am at ice cube for talking about killing 'whitey'... everyone has their off days where they say some stupid shit... some folks just seemed to make their whole career about it. im pretty sick of it being ok to openly hate white folks, but if a white guy makes a racist comment, its as if he shot martin luther king jr. ive walked through countless black neighborhoods and been screamed at 'get the fuck outa here cracker... cracker muthafucka, im gonna fuck you up'... just for being white. im not at all saying racism doesnt still exist, but i would be incredibly suprised if a black kid walking down a white street would get the same reception. people might look on with concern, but they wouldnt scream racial obsenities at him. whats my point?
