    Maps

Discussion started by Vanity - May 2, 2004

i notice that whenever i go to people's places, they never have maps up on the wall.... i don't understand this.

    • maps look cool
    • maps add color to dull rooms
    • they're ussually big, flat, and kinda annoying, making them perfect for a wall
    • you'll use them way more than a poster of your favorite movie
    • you can often get them for free
    • you can mark on them, psycho style

i dunno... i like maps... i'll ussually have 2 bus maps up, a railroad map, and a city map.. anyone feel me?

any particularly interesting looking maps worth checking out?

i met one kid that'd boost the line routes off the L in chicago

An ultra detailed map of my city and/or the world would look mega fresh.. All framed and shit. word.

you have just seen into a portion of my day today. i went and bought a map of a new city im moving to soon and put it on the wall. i highlighted and tacked specific routes/areas around my new apt to get an idea of the area. people walk in thinkin 'what the hell' as if im plotting some terrorist shit.

telo, i'd go against the framing.... you can't write on it... plus it's expensive... but some poster shops will mount it on foam board for you
