yea...

i started growin bonsai after i got into all types of trouble so you know, it kinda kept me humble, outta trouble, my mind offa certian things, like a therapy

i just got done watering mine as a matter of fact

a friends father taught me how to do it, he came from puerto rico and has been doin bonsai since he got to the states so thats like 20+ years under his belt

but nah dont buy an already grown tree it defeats the purpose

grow your own so you can shape it to represent what YOU want it to be

not what some dude at the mall did among 100's

patience... patience... goes hand in hand with bonsai

you can bonsai pretty much anything. you can bonsai marijuana if you wanted to. my friends father bonsai's native trees to the area and a few plants from puerto rico and makes little forests that look like if you went out to the suburbs, like he took the forest and shrunk it and put it outside on his porch

love 'em !

I cut a documentary one banzi once.

There was this 80 year old dude in singapore who had an entire garden filled with them.

Apparently he sells something like 5 trees a year and it's enough to keep him well paid.

He had one tree that was his great grandfather's first tree. Things like 150 years old!

It was so old an gnarly looking (picture the Tree in Sleeepy Hollow).

I want one, but I'm not sure if I could handle it.

Maybe I'll stick with the ivy.

That'd be my hobby if my terrible craftmanship wasn't such a big issue. But bonsais rule universes. Beer,

most difficult thing ive attempted to do...i had about 3 black pine seedlings...needless to say i dont know what went wrong...i probably over watered them...they died after a couple months...i still plan to get back into it...right now i got a cactus...easiest plant to take care of..i plan to get one of my mom's jade trees, which are about a year old, and a couple inches high and work from there.....

Dead Tree

Bought my lady one of those last year for our anniversary. Told her some bullshit about as long as the tree is alive our love will last forever or some shit like that. Needless to say the tree is now dead. Thats why I'm going to paint tommorow instead of staying home with her!
