KILZ FILLZ
I think this shit is pretty cool and I just learned about it today spectre of the Brocken is the magnified (and apparently enormous) shadow of an observer cast in mid air upon any type of cloudopposite a strong light source. Additionally, if the cloud consists of water droplets backscattered, a bright area called Heiligenschein, and halo-like rings of rainbow coloured light called a glory can be seen around the head or apperature silhouette of the spectre. Typically the spectre appears in sunlightopposite the sun's direction at the antisolar point 2

ndv
Natural phenomenon is quite interesting and it's stuff like this that triggers an intrest of what people or individuals thought in the beginnings of time when sciences were non existing and just theoretical even if that. But like I mean when someone seen this IRL during earlier times, I'd like to know what did they think? I'm sure there where rational thinkers, but throughout time weve had people believe some women were witches, Azteca believed in the sun God, to name a couple. There's even flat earthers. So with that in mind, I am sure there were many instances people were accused of delusional or not even considered delusional because at the time there wasn't an explanation for what happens naturally. Then I begin to think what stage are we at in time wheb we see natural phenomenon or things we can't understand yet, becuase the sciences have not been developed yet, and yet history repeats itself. Edit: in others words, understanding and development is pretty cool. Edited April 1, 2023 by ndv
