I used to race a long time ago and just made the decision to start again.

Right now I am just trying to get my stamina, speed, and strength up.

It's almost winter here, so I figure I have probably 4-5 months to get prepared to race.

The thing is, when I raced before...I just went out there and rode.

But there is a HUGE difference between racing when you are a young teenager and racing when you are 30.

I have a clear idea of what I am in for, and I know how to get there...I just need to start pushing myself and work hard.

I am sure race bikes have evolved since I was last into it..but I am sure after a little research I should be able to find a bike that will suit my needs.

R@ndom shoot me some good names to look into.

I been wanting to find a decent 24" bmx cruiser.

What's a few decent but kinda cheap companies to check into?

And that video is madness.

The first bike on that half pipe neon yellow, that shit is fresh.

Or dude at 1:40 in the red shirt doing that double tailwhip?

Brutal.

Or 2:24 that 720, I think???

This is a badass video.

For 24" you want to go race...Redline, GT, Supercross, but most of those are going to be pretty expensive cause they are usually marketed toward serious race dudes.

Fit came out with a 24"

This is there new 2010 model...pretty nice if you just want to ride around, set you back 550.

Macneil makes one as well...has a classic looptail design, again if you are not a race dude then its okay to ride. 700 bucks

SE bikes I think really makes the best cruisers that look awesome and ride well.

Socal Flyer, pretty awesome and looks clean as hell.

Hope this helps

Are the German BMX kids " stuck in the 80's " with sweet old Haros , GT's ? That would be rad .

Nah, ever heard of "WETHEPEOPLE"? A super sweet bmx company in Cologne, Germany

They also have some other bike companies that I am not to familiar with, but actually street bmx is not that popular flatland and racing is the thing here. But occasionally I see a couple of kids riding around on some street bmxs

Why don't you ride it?

How much?

Shipping would be retarded wouldn't it?

I dont ride it cause I have a 20" that I enjoy to much. I bought it when I was in my old man mood "my knees are to bad" phase. I rode it a couple of times, put a new freewheel, chain and monolever on it and its been sitting in my house.

I would let it got for 200. I dont know how much shipping would be, I guess that is something I would have to find out. But it shouldnt be much, I only pay to ship it when it gets to the United States. The Government pays for the flight across the sea.
