Unfortunately, we lost Morneau for the rest of the season due to a stress fracture in one of his vertebrae. Fortunately, the remedy is rest and little strenuous physical activity and not surgery. Still sucks we won't have his bat for the last three weeks. But hell, we still have Mauer, Kubel, and Cuddyer for big bats. Crede might be out, though.
