yeesh, criminals 101.

if you think you're going to get raided, hiding shit will do you no good.

you need to destroy anything that could be used as evidence against you.

If you don't have the heart to destroy it, leave in your car first with 3 trash bags full of clothes. if you get pulled over and searched, it's just clothes (make sure your car is always clean!!!). if everything goes fine, leave with what you have to and hope for the best, but remember:

most people's houses get raided because they get snitched on or because they have a record and there's rumors of criminal activity;

and you'd have to own a city to get raided just for writing.

anyway, always be aware and watch who's behind you, if you see the same car/person repeatedly then it's time to chill, same thing if you see cops on your street too often, etc.

stop telling people about your criminal activities. be it drugs or graffiti or whatever, every person you tell is another person who could potentially testify against you. a lot of writers seem to think it's a social hobby: always partying with writers, everybody knows what you write, etc.

this is not a great idea. not to say everyone who does it will get busted, but it increases your odds seriously.

if you must hang out with other writers constantly, don't tell them what you write. if you must tell someone what you write, don't tell very many people. it will come back to haunt you.

be aware of the type of spots you hit. people who hit churches, schools, etc. are asking for trumped up charges (for ex, it's a felony to write in school at all levels [of education, middle school, high school, college], i believe) and increased attention.

abandoned places or places that can afford to buff (corporate shit) you have less of a chance of getting attention.

and leave your neighborhood. writing in a small area only makes you an easy target, and most good writers get up all over the place (hence the term "all city").

you really shouldn't get raided for writing, if you do, far too many people knew what was up. i know of like 3 dudes period that've been raided amongst thousands of writers.

most don't get LEO attention, and if they do, they get followed and busted while writing.
