Not that it has anything to do with Tookie Williams the Racist Murderer, but "No" I was never robbed of my lunch money in school, because I would fight anybody anytime who wanted to fuck with me, regardless of size or age. In the second grade, I cold-cocked a sixth grader with a metal lunch kit (it had a heavy Thermos bottle inside) when he tried to "take me into custody" after school.

 

I fought just about every week until I got to junior high school. When I was in the seventh grade, a ninth grader tried to force me to give him a Coke that I was drinking. When I refused, he knocked it out of my hand and laughed. Just as he did this, the bell rang and everyone started for class. I was carrying a pine-and-redwood laminated skateboard deck that I made in woodshop inside my three-ring binder, under my left arm. When he turned to walk away, I pulled the skateboard deck, dropped the binder, and hit him from behind on the right side of his head with the edge of the skateboard, knocking his ass out cold as a cucumber.

 

I then bent down, grabbed my binder and went directly into the shop class and started working. He laid out there for several minutes before the shop teacher saw him and they took him to the school nurse. Everybody was saying "What happened, what happened, how did he get hurt?" If anybody saw me hit him, they didn't speak up. I was scared, and figured that I would be arrested by the cops any second, but nobody ever showed up. I didn't see him for a couple of days. Next time I did, he wouldn't even look at me, the fucking coward bully. Some weeks later I did see him pushing around some younger kid in the Boy's Gym locker room, but he never fucked with me again. I think he was ashamed to admit a "freshie" had knocked his sorry chickenshit coward bully ass out cold.

 

I was never ashamed to run if I was outnumbered, but if I knew who they were, I made up my mind to get them each and every one, one by one, alone. Sometimes I won, and sometimes I got my ass kicked, by they ALWAYS paid a price for fucking with me. Every time they got a steak, I got a sandwich. I came home all beat up many a time, but the whole school knew that Big Bad Bob got a split lip and a black eye from little seventh-grader KaBar.

 

In high school, I was an unpopular kid, but nobody bothered me. Everybody knew we smoked dope and drank, everybody knew we were troublemakers. I bragged about being an anarchist. My best friend (whose younger brother is now a powerful Republican politician here in Texas) once brought a baseball bat to school to take care of some bullies. He didn't catch them, but he chased them all over the front lawn of the school swinging that bat like a crazy man. They didn't fuck around with Jimmy after that. He wasn't kidding, he would have beat hem to mush.

 

There is a BIG DIFFERENCE between defending yourself, and becoming a predator. Tookie Williams was a PREDATOR. Adios, Tookie, you fucking shithook bully. Too bad it took so long to execute you, ASSHOLE. And I wish it hurt more.

The guillotine is actually more humane and ends life of condemned criminals quicker than any other method. Hanging, when done by an expert professional, renders the condemned criminal instantly unconcious, and separates the spinal cord from the brain stem, resulting in death within seconds. Hanged criminals were once left hanging for an hour, even after being pronounced dead by a physician, to ensure death.

 

All of the modern methods, electrocution, gas chamber and lethal injection take longer and cause more pain and discomfort than either the guillotine or hanging, but they seem "cleaner" and "less cruel" somehow than the guillotine and the rope.

 

Probably, the quickest and most effective is the most objectionable--a pistol shot to the back of the head. This is the preferred method of execution by our beloved trading partner, Communist China. The government makes the family PAY FOR THE CARTRIDGE used to kill their family member before they will release the body for burial.

this is a good comment. also you'll notice a HUGE difference with rural vs urban as well as southern vs northern blacks, however the biggest divide is rural vs urban. you'd be surprised. you have guys like medger evers brother and then you have people like jesse jackson. big big difference. i dont have much in common with ghetto black folk, but some of the best people i've met/hung out with are older rural southern black folk.

While I don't condone what Tookie did, he did become a positive force for change and a true role model for youth. Anytime there is a breakdown in the channels of power you will find ganglike activity. Ever since we won civil rights, they broke down our major gang, that was actually a positive force for social justice and change, the black panthers, things have been a slippery slope. We won our rights on paper, we became full fledged citizens, but in practice we became disenfranchised. White flight left black neighborhoods impoverished. The CIA flooded the streets with harsh street drugs, first PCP, then crack. They profit from our own destruction and splintering into gangs. Divide and conquer. That old colonial shit. You cannot look at the numbers, look at the statistics and tell me that we are equal in practice. 50% of african americans are incarcerated for 80% of drug related offenses, yet we are less than 15% of the population. We have great depression level unemployment at 12.5% nationwide, and in some areas such as New York and Cinncinnati at 50% and 65% respectively. How can you look at these sort of statistics and not see racism still in practice? It's only gone unofficial now, it's undercover. The prison industry is big business, and this is the new slavery.

as i said earlier in this thread... if we are talking pre civil rights era, you might of had a case. say for instance black schools got the shaft on funding. now the reverse is almost true. qualified whites cannot get into a college because of government regulations saying they have to accept a certain number of minorities reguardless of qualifications. same with employment. as the great black economist pointed out..."if A is known to cause Z, we still cannot infer A whenever we find Z, if B, C, D, etc. also cause Z. " reverse discrimination is not morally acceptable and is NOT part of the original civil rights fight.

equality of result is impossible and immoral. lowering test difficulty to try to "level the playing field" is a scam. if someone were lowering test difficulty for me, i'd be down right insulted. people of low classes and bad situations have no one to blame but THEMSELVES not "the man." its easy for minorities to do so. but how do you explain whites in the same situation, if white on black racism is the reason why more blacks live in broken homes, have low unemployment etc etc?
