fatbastard
Its called life. Its not only graffiti thats superficial and shallow, any subculture/hobby shares similar components, you just have to learn how to adjust to different groups of people in social situations, and not let it bother you. fatbastard
On a completely un-related note, i wonder if the game nerds who have 10,000 hit points are snobby to the newbies who have like 500. Is n00b just another word for toy? :)
Hermdog
who needs friends....do your dirt alone...sometimes it's cool to have someone with you but most the time they are dead weight in the time of crisis.

Is n00b just another word for toy? :) Quoted post As someone who's been playing First Person Shooters on the intranets for almost a decade now, I can say that yes, people who are very good at the games are many times complete cockfuckers to people who are new. And n00b is basically the gaming word for "toy". And a n00b basically acts like toys act, loud-mouthed, crappy at playing, spreading their shit everywhere. It's really like that with anything. If you just started playing guitar, So and So rockstar isn't going to want to hang out with you just for that reason. If you play baseball for your college team, Curt Schilling isn't going to automatically mentor you. The difference with graffiti is that it is a solitary hobby, you don't need other people to play. With gaming you do, so you can wind up friends with even the biggest of assholes if you play on a server for long enough.

GLIK$
You dont make friends because of graffiti you make friends because of who you are. Not because youre doing apple green to summer squash fades with red outlines and pink shells. Nobody gives a fuck about what youre doing, truthfully. Wanna know why established writers seem snobby? Because theyre not looking to make friends with people on the level of graffiti. Not to mention half the kids who think writers are snobby are the same kids sitting at the production going, hey hit my book, yo can you hit my book, Yo you're real ill. abraKadabra
first off im a nobody who thinks hes a somebody graff shit shouldnt be that important if you didnt come up with kids that wrote you most likely dont have a reason to write graff is like obsesive compulsive disorder shit pops through my brain at least once an hour..probly more than fat asses..thats fucked up graff is a fucking crutch for people who dont grow up..your family might love you if your lucky..who would you be without tagging?? abraKadabra
nothings wrong with writng by yourself for your personal gratification i was just trying to say not to seek out writers just because they write. My opinion is that graff shoulnt be like a social ladder to climb or a cool guy club..almost all the people ive met through graff have been alright though..I was just trying to dissuade another toy from trying to get up and ask to many questions
