Due to technicalities he is now serving a life sentance for almost nothing. At 18 he was caught with more than an oz.of weed and charged with 2 Felonies. He left his Indian reservation after doing his time and moved to Denver. One day we got a thick official looking envelope from the feds for him. It said he was being charged with statutory rape for having sex with a 16 year old when he was 18. It also said he would fall under the 3 strikes life in prison rule.
