I am thinking that CS is probably missing some features but I am not sure, the last version I was using was 7, and I have never heard of the CS version during that time. Quoted post CS is newer and more advanced than 7. CS2 is newer and better still. You can probably do most of the same stuff on the older versions though. I'm not that familiar with the older ones.
