Im Broke Posted October 1, 2004 Share Posted October 1, 2004 well its now oct. 1st and the haunted houses around here are opening. we have a few around here. not too good tho if i do say so myself. but somethin that i was reading up on and really intrested me was this haunted house or rather haunted hospital we have where i live... its called the waverly hill TB hospital. there are many ghost storys to come out of this place. they run a hounted house thing in it every year. not to great. but there have been many ghost sighting there. like room 502, where 12 nurses commited suicide. one hung her self and the other jumped out of the window and fell 5 storys to flat. but after the hospital was closed in 61' it was opend as a nursing home and was not keped up at all. a state regulator in 1980 who reported locked doors to patient rooms, urine puddles in the hallways and some patients lying unattended for hours; of poorly kept, even falsified medical records; and of roaches in one patient's bowel movement. so the nursing home was closed in 1980. different ghost sighting and legends formed around this hospital. a small boy appeared at a recent Halloween Haunted House. He stood off at a distance, holding a tennis ball. To even consider that a "trapped soul" is "wandering" is.fucking.crazy. Literally. But then again, I don't believe in God, or any deity of any kind, so the thought of a ghost is just insane to me. By exploiting abandoned buildings, you draw more attention to them, which ruins them. Security is not really much a problem. Before it was a sanitarium i was one of Al Capons mansions. Before it was torn down , my friends and i wne thtere plenty of times, fuckn cool but freaky place, goin there drunk was the best.
