Even if your not painting, i know its harder with the wtc shit, but late at night when your waiting a hour for your train and you know its not coming for another hour- walk to the next station!! Its a whole other world down there, all to yourself. Shit you will never see in the rest of your lifetime, the secret rooms, the old writers that have been down there, its like goin back in time, to see who else has been there walking the same tracks as you. Then you stumble upon one of revs' stories, you take a minute to read it, get some knowlege. You see his shit in the craziest of places, it will all be over soon tho, in a few years they will sensor all the tunnel entrances and put a better lock on the hatches and that whole world will be sealed up forever. Soooo get a job and be a transit worker!!! It will give you opportunites to do things you will never have and all your graff friends will be jealous.... I like his view on the world. I had this opportunity to bomb the inside of this bar and get free paint and beer and decided to bring Scope, PS and Revs. We set it on the place and afterwards I noticed Revs did a big "FUCKINREVS" right as you walk in. So much for welcoming in the bar patrons. LOL Other times I talked with him at length about whatnot and definitely dug where he was coming from. Talking about the "control factor" of NYC and this country. How NYC has a weaker pulse now than in previous years. Yuppies galore. Corporate greed and suckers everywhere. How mega amounts of rule crazed cops are making NYC the illest police state ever. I remember seeing a REVS page that said something about how bananas shit was in the 80's. How the hardcore bands and the rap groups were making the classics, the trains were killed, kids running wild in the streets. Kids running the system. Long live the kids!!! Something to that effect. It was great. I said I felt that modern times are fucked because of lazy technology. Cell phones, internet, 500 channel cable network, cameras on everything. Sit on your ass and don't think. It takes mad work to do real things. EFFORT. DEDICATION. PERSEVERANCE. Shit man...I'm about to cry......sniff....nah I'm just buggin. Theres still raw kids in the mix everywhere. Back to REVS....I wish I could show you flix of the last page of the tunnel pages but its D.L. status so lets keep it that way out of respect. One day it will surface. But I'll drop a quote from it.
